I read a lot about these bearings having short life from the factory. I don't believe it's the bearing's fault. When you install the drum in the tub you are handling something around 2 feet in diameter in a 2.25 foot hole, but the shaft is only about 1/2" diameter. A few hundreths of an inch of mis-alignment during installation could damage the seal, allowing a tiny bit of wash water to get past it, leading to short bearing life. I suspect alignment is as difficult at the factory as it is in the field. Be very careful when installing it to not damage the seal.

Fit all seemed to be fine. After 3 months of use the bearings are rough and squeaky. Will have to unstack machines and replace bearings and seal again and hope that new ones will be better quality. Don’t waste your time and money and try to find one better quality replacement parts.

Worked fine

Don’t buy ! waste of money used 3 months and started making real loud noise and shaking bad. Replaced arm and bearings ,seal at same time . And bearings gone bad.

Very satisfied with this two sets of bearings and water seal set. Local appliance repair was prohibitively expensive to do the job and I was unable to find these through local parts stores, but these could be delivered overnight. I’m not 100% certain of the quality of the parts, and Samsung is quite bad about making service parts available. These came packaged neatly in a small cardboard box, and while clean and neat were not as precisely made as the originals, but if this gets me several more years, I’ll be very satisfied. Installation of this is not for the faint of heart, but there’s an excellent YouTube video by a gentleman going out of the title of “jungleexplorer”. Search for “DIY: Best Samsung FL washer bearing replacement”. Honestly, the only hard part is driving out the old bearings with a punch, which is a real pain. The whole time you’re sweating, wondering if they’re gonna come out and then magically they pop right out. I put these in on Christmas Eve 2024, it took about four hours, but I’m new to this and I was watching the video referenced above. Good luck, merry Christmas and happy new year.

great replacement for oem bearings

I regret giving this product a 5 star review. As others have stated , these don’t last long. 9 months for mine. It’s not an easy job, including cleaning the laundry scum off the drum etc., before putting it back together. This is not the first washer bearings I’ve replaced, and the others are still fine after several years. Why someone would go to all the trouble to make these bearings, and do it wrong, is beyond me. I’m going to take a chance on another set, but not from here. I suggest you do the same.

This is a challenging install because you have to pretty much disassemble the entire washer. Once you get it apart, replacing the bearings and having them seated level and in the right spot was no easy task. The bearings worked perfect. It is a great replacement part, but the installation is not for the faint of heart.

Do not waste your money and time! After one month the bearing is gone. Again noise! Bad quality!
