I've had this for a month or two and so far no complaints. it did fall off the tile where I had it in the bath after about a week when I first installed it but I put it back up and tightened it every day for a couple days and since then no problems. It looks nice and holds two bars of soap with no problem. It's very sturdy and I recommend it.

Very easy to install even though it did fall off the first time after putting it up; I didn't have the knob/dial turned all the way. It pushes the suction cup tightly to the wall. I purchased to brushed bronze; looks great.

This product is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm sure you all have experiences this. You get something to put up in your shower that relies on a suction cup to adhere itself. It works great for the first week, month, 2 months, but then it starts to fall. Randomly in the night, crash! You re-adhere the item. and a week later, crash! Again you re-adhere it. This time you make sure you clean the surface well. Despite your efforts a day later, CRASH. #$%#&^%%#@ You are so angry! I've been there, but not again. This item uses a flat cup. As you tighten the device, it pulls on the inside of the cup and creates the suction. I am confident that this device is not coming down, until I want it to. I didn't quite get it, when i was setting it up. As I tighted it up, the lightbulb lit. Aha! This is exactly what I'm looking for! You won't be disappointed!

I purchased the soap dish for my shower in January of 2022. This past month (almost a year later), the suction weakened and the soap dish fell off of the wall. I noticed on the product description that the suction cups could be replaced FREE OF CHARGE by contacting the seller. I sent an email to Gecko-Loc describing the situation. They said they'd send a replacement and within a few days, two new suction cups arrived by mail. The soap dish is the perfect style for my bathroom and I'm so impressed with the quality of the customer service. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for accessories! This seems to be a well made item, and the mechanism to tighten it to the wall is easy to use. However, I should have listened to the other negative reviews, since it has a fatal flaw -- it won't stay attached to our ceramic tile wall for more than a few hours! I cleaned the tile with three different cleaners, and it made no difference. The soap dish seems to be firmly attached at first, but always falls off a few hours later. I contacted the seller about the problem, but they just repeated the same tips that came with the instructions, which I had already tried. So while I appreciate that they responded quickly, the problem appears to be in the design of the product. Note: Our tile walls are normal glazed ceramic tiles, which are smooth and non-porous.

I love this soap dish! My entire bathroom is finished in tile, so added extra fixtures is a little tricky. My tile has a flat surface that is semi shiny (not matte, not glossy, just in between). The soap dish arrived secured in a box with easy to follow instructions. I did not have any issues installing the soap dish on my shower wall. The total installment only took a couple of minutes. Since installation, the soap dish has not budged. It has been sprayed with water repeatedly through many showers and still remains secured to my wall. The finish matched my oil rubbed bronze fixtures in my bathroom, too. The overall size of the dish accommodates various size soap bars, including handmade. After I made my purchase, the customer service team was kind enough to send an email that offered even MORE detailed instructions, as well as tips and troubleshooting. I'm very happy with this soap dish and look forward to exploring more products in this series.
