Just what I needed to protect my camera screen.

I put these screen protectors on two Olympus TG-6 cameras that we used for six days of snorkeling, one to four hours a day. The protectors were easy to install. Both cameras traveled in padded (albeit soft) cases. My screen protector was already cracked in two places before I even got in the water. Both had many cracks by the end of the trip. But all of the pieces stayed in place on both cameras, successfully protecting the screens from scratches or worse. My concern that the easily-applied protectors (or broken pieces of them) might come off in the seawater were completely unfounded; every fragment stayed in place. We tried to be gentle with the cameras, although things do move around in the water (and in travel) and may bump into each other. I have to conclude that these screen protectors are pretty fragile for this kind of use on what is supposed to be a "tough" camera for harsh conditions, even by people who do not abuse their equipment. But I am still glad we had them, as they did the job of protecting the screens, which are crucial to using these viewfinderless cameras. If you consider the screen protectors to be sacrificial and expect only perhaps a week of frequent use before you replace them, these might still be a reasonable choice. Just bring a few extras for a longer trip. I will look for thicker glass or maybe plastic protectors if they are available. If not, I'll just buy another several of these and expect to replace them frequently.
