Grates like a dream!
Great quality, very sharp grater. I use this almost on the daily and so far it has made easy work out of cheeses, garlic, ginger, etc. Well worth the price! It is a great size for grating different foods, not too big and clunky, or too small for things like blocks of cheese.

Extremely sharp and beautiful
Nice tool. When grating, the blade surface tends to bend inward with pressure causing for potential slip and injury. The steel should be thicker or reinforced.

Not made in USA
Soooooo this is a beautiful piece of equipment for the kitchen, but it’s made in China of US and Chinese components. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of purchasing it because of its origin. I would return it, but I already have the matching box grater. And it is very pretty.

Ideal for grating cinnamon
I've gotten about four microplaners for grating cinnamon, none of which worked UNTIL I GOT THIS ONE. You would not think that getting a good cinnamon grater would be that difficult. But your worries are over: this one works.
