Great bit of kit once you set it up for hinges size and lock, it makes your life so much easier.

This did the job admirably. I would say that this wouldn’t be worth it for just one or two doors but I had 7 doors to change so 21 hinges. Took me about 25 minutes to set it up, (used one of the old doors to practice) but from then on it took about two minutes to do the three hinges on each door including the clamping up set up. The little corner chisel device was also a great time saver, easy to line up, one whack with a mallet and the rounded router corners were instantly square. The hinges look perfect. It’s one of those things that I’ll probably never use again but saved me so much hassle and a few hundred quid too if I’d got a carpenter in

Well the jig is fine the router bit and the corner chisel not so good but they are changeable and I will buy a better quality but having said that the jig is good and for the money a bargain .

Its decent all cast aluminium body and guides. But It’s not very easy to use if using firstly and required a lot try cuts to set it perfectly for your needs. Also not very accurate “guides” does have far to much wiggle room in slots. Next thing is nut design for adjusting, it’s real pain in a$$. i ended up replacing original nuts with wing nuts for faster easier adjustment. And needed glue in bolts with some epoxy resin as few of them spin around since I got them

A very handy product. As a decent DIYer I did one door the old fashioned way using a chisel which took ages. Then purchased this jig for the 2nd door and it saved me a huge amount of time. Practiced a few times on some old timber, and tweaked the measurements, then cruised through the routing with perfect hinge cutouts. Good purchase.

Have a lot of internal doors to fit...and haven't hung doors before so got this to help speed me up. Illustrated instructions in box are pretty good and because we used the same hinges on every door... once this was set up it worked a treat! Easy to use spanner to adjust, took about 10 minutes to get the guide plates in the right place, and practise on some scrap wood to check the set up. I didn't get on with the corner chisel included...it just seemed to bruise the wood (maybe mine wasn't sharply edged enough) but just using a normal chisel to take out the routed corners was easy. Pleased I bought this!

Good value for the money, you will need to check the compatibility of your router as the jig is for a specific tool size Practice on an old door as you’ll need patience to work out the best way to use it

Easy and ajustable to use it if you have some millwork skils. I recommend you make some test on a 2x4 or a flat piece of wood before to work on your actual project, but dont count on the measurements scale you have to make the 4 plates adjusted according to your router size plate and the part that you need to attach flush to your door. REMEMBER YOU NEED SOME SKILLS But definitely a must have tool for doors attachments
