Great pan- I use it for chicken, fish and vegies

I gave this as a gift. It was much appreciated. At first I thought I made a big mistake because the pan was in the new matte finish. Because it was a dark color it looked unfinished at first glance. But the giftee was very pleased with it and saw the advantage of not hav ya shiny finish to care for.

Beautiful piece, heavy but not too heavy, cleans well with hot soapy water, and retains heat well, did I say it was heavy ?., that’s what I like about it, heat it up prior to cooking then turn heat to med low, and the grill marks will appear on what you are cooking , would not trade it for another pan.

My friend said it made her a good cook. This was wedding present

Es mi primer sartén de hierro y la verdad lo he disfrutado en la cocina, todos dicen que traes en calentadar la verdad no siento la diferencia con uno de teflón, es más tarda en enfriar. No he probado otras marcas pero esta no necesita cursarse previamente, no se me pega nada en cuestión de res, polo o verduras una vez calentado y con un poco de aceite o mantequilla, no he probado pescados. Es 3 ves o más caro que uno de marca Lodge el cual no he probado pero al menos este puedo decir ur es garantía en calidad de material y acabado. A mí parecer es caro pero justifica el precio.

Antes de su compra leí comentarios negativos como que no era muy diferentes a otras más económicas, que la comida se pegaba o que perdía su adherencia. Por ese motivo he esperado a poner la reseña. Lo cierto es que después de semanas de uso estoy encantado. Si se siguen las indicaciones del fabricante, los resultados son óptimos, los alimentos no se pegan y la limpieza es fácil.

Wir haben schon sehr gute Erfahrungen mit Brätern und Töpfen von Le Creusetalternativ auch Staub gemacht. Eine "vernünftige" Grillpfanne fehlte bislang im Haushalt. Wenn die Gerätschaften pfleglich behandelt werden (keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel verwenden, heißes Wasser genügt) hat man was für's Leben. Eine gewisse Patina nach längeren Gebrauch ist normal gewünscht und nichts, was bei uns nicht törend wirkt. Das Fleisch lässt sich sehr gut (Induktion) scharf anbraten und durch die Rillen entsteht die grilltypische Struktur. Fett oder Bratensaft lassen sich prima über die "Nase" ablassen, ohne das es größere Mißgeschicke gibt. Es reicht nach unserer Erfahrung rel. wenig Öl oder Fett zum braten. Auch mit Gemüse sind die Erfahrungen ähnlich gut. Wir verwenden sie aber hauptsächlich für Fleisch. Klare Empfehlung und der Hinweis darauf, dass es zwischendurch immer wieder sehr gute Angebote gibt.

Era da tempo che volevo prendermi una bistecchiera degna di questo nome. La ghisa smaltata è di ottima qualità. Pentola pesante come ci si aspetta da una bistecchiera come questa. Non è molto pratica da pulire ma permette fin da subito di ottenere cotture perfette. Lo svantaggio è, appunto, la pulizia che richiede un pò di attenzione e tempo, seguendo le istruzioni non si avranno problemi.

Used and abused weekly for 3 years+. Still going strong, great quality. Compact enough to fit into standard UK ovens. Even heat distribution, using mine on gas hob and oven finished dishes. It is NOT non-stick gridlet. Good for steaks and other meats etc Dishwasher clean and scrub off any minor remains works best.
