He has never been interested in animals until he got this and the book about the birds. The drawings are a little blurry and small
The drawings are a little blurry and small for my old eyes but I was still able to identify a few bugs and birds (I have both of the California cards) This laminated page is convenient to keep on the porch and I’ve used it often.

however a great reference to keep by the door with the binoculars
A little small, so I will need to pair with a magnification sheet, however a great reference to keep by the door with the binoculars. For class purposes, I would choose a larger poster.

Love the size
The size is perfect for hanging out side on hook for fast reference. My kids are always asking me about birds, bugs, reptiles, and etc. So I bought all of these so I can say more than "I dun-O"

Pictures are not as well defined as I'd hoped. I'd also wanted something that could fit easier in a purse or bag. This is rather long. Also, no birds of prey
