This harness just did not properly hold my Beagle. While walking him, the straps would just shift around and often impede his legs, making it difficult for him to walk. I will say that the product is insanely well made, maybe to an extreme as this leash is too heavy for a 30 pound dog. I ended up throwing the harness away and keeping the leash.

As others note, this harness is pretty big. It is a very good looking harness and well made but just will not fit a small 9lb dog. It's marked as Small so I assume I received the right size. Didn't even try it on as I can tell just by looking at it it isn't going to fit. Instead of returning it I just donated it to Good Will so hopefully someone will put it to use.

The harness is sturdy. However, Even with adjustment to the smallest size with the smallest harness, it is still too big and in danger of slipping off our 20 pound dog. It is nice that it comes with a sturdy lease.

My precious Charlie did not look good with it; my husband and son did not like it on Charlie either. It may work better on a bigger and taller dog. It is sturdier and heavy-looking- very manly for a boyish Havanese.
