COREY Women's Cara Dress

I saw this dress on the multiple Amazon Fashion ads placed in the fashion magazines and thought it was a unique but very wearable dress. Yes, it's another shift dress, but the stripes and floral patterns are pretty rare yet it works. I was pretty excited when it went on sale and bought right away. Here are my thoughts:Sizing & fit - I had to exchange after receiving the dress because I thought it fit a bit snug and I don't like my clothes skin tight. I went a size up my normal dress size. The dress also falls about 2-3 inches above my knees, when I expected a longer hem. As evidenced by the model in the picture, this is not a long dress. The shoulder issue addressed by other reviewers was also a problem for me and I'm average build, thus it made sense to go up a size.Quality - I know some reviewers complain about the price and therefore, the quality. I think it's a very well made dress TBH. Yeah it's not made of silk entirely, but it's also NOT polyester. Judging by the stitching, seams, and material, the quality is definitely above your Zara/H&M/Target.Overall, I definitely recommend, especially at the sale price. The dress looks exactly like it does in the picture, I love it! Though 1 star deducted for the issue with the fit.

I honestly don't think the original price is worth $160, because the fabric isn't what I had expected, but is 35% silk 65% tencel lining, and 100% polyester... and dry clean only. I honestly can't tell what part of the fabric is silk, but it must be blended? I have to say, it feels more polyester, with a hint of soft touch to it. Definitely need ironing/dry clean before wearing to flatten it out. The dress is indeed a bit shorter than expected, but not too bad... and I agree with one other reviewer, who had mentioned about the shoulders being small. I got size 0, and my shoulder was a bit small, very awkward visual. I am returning this and ordering size 2. We'll see how that works. Overall, so far, it's A OK.Updating my review after receiving the size 2 instead. It's a bit disappointing that the shoulder is still stiff/shorter. I think it may be due to the fabric. However, I do have a broader shoulder for my size, which hadn't effected me much in dresses, until I came across this one... HAHAHA. It supposedly looks better than the first one though, so I'm going to keep and stick with it...

The dress is really cute! I had to exchange the first one bc it was just too tight in the shoulder bust and hips and the second one I got was still a little snug, but I still like it. It would be better for someone with smaller bust and smaller hips. I thought that as someone with a larger bust the details on the front would be flattering but it doesnt really make any difference.

I loved how unique the dress looked so I took a chance and bought when it went on sale. I took people's advice and sized up to an 8 to fit into the sleeves.. I have to say I loved the print and the colors. I even didn't mind the large exposed zipper. However the sleeves were still a problem. They fit me but they are these weird semi-capsleeves that are extremely unflattering. I think the poor fitting on the sleeves makes the dress look cheap. In addition the dress obliterates whatever shape you have. I thought the fit would be loose but still flattering. I think this dress would be ideal on someone tall with very skinny arms, it definitely did not work on my short curvy body.

I love the price, design, and color but it's too delicate for me and the sleeve cuff hugs my shoulders it does not let me move my arms freely. I work in retail where I have to reach for things and merchandise. So, I gave it to my friend who works at the Bank

This dress is nice. It is simple. The style is something that I wear everyday. The print is rather interesting. I bought size 0. The length and shoulder line is perfect but it doesn't fit perfectly on my body. I don't think there's something wrong with the sizing. I think I just shrink from doing Jillian's six week six pack & doing my kick boxing. Half an inch should be taken off on both sides. Otherwise, I am happy about this dress.

This dress came to me extremely wrinkly out of the box. The sleeves had weird wrinkles that made them pop out. The top zipper doesn't sit well on the frame, and it pops out when I lift my arms. The fabric also looks of low quality. The stripes are not crisp, but looks like they've been printed on. The front of the dress also had a nick in it! The white dress is very see-through, and the jaggedly cut black trim shows through the white fabric near the neck!It is short, but the rest of the dress is fits too large. Not as fitting as another reviewer described.The dress is very reflective of its sale price and not its original price.

I think this dress is really unique, and it's at a great price. It fits a little small in the shoulder. I am usually a size 2, with size 2 being a little big, but size 0 too tight. This dress is pretty much perfect in a 2, just a little tight in the shoulders. It is a short dress; I'm 5' 8" so any shorter would be too short. Overall I'm really excited to wear this next spring!
