I bought this several years ago for my bedridden mom. My mom had a chronic tunnelling bedsore that we could never get fully healed. I bought this to help put less pressure on her bedsore when she was wedged to her side. Even though her bedsore never healed she never developed any other bedsores. We used this after my mom passed when my dad became bedridden. He never developed bedsores until he was at his end and nothing could have prevented them. I would recommend this.

My spouse is in a nursing home without full bed rails. The nurse attendants place it under the bottom sheet and it prevents her from climbing out of bed. Works like a charm.

I love this particular pillow, as it extremely helpful with lifting our love one off the back side with aiding in prevention of wounds. The extended lip is what I’ve been looking for. The extra rise is wonderful! Thanks

The cushion wasn't firm enough to keep my elderly dad (~180 lbs) rolled on his side even when VERY firmly wedged. It might work for a very small person, but I was disappointed because the shape was unique and exactly what we wanted. But it's just too squishy.

Meets expectations

This did not work for my mom… but it was uncomfortable for her and awkward. She’s bedridden and could not remove the pillow on her own so she was stuck until someone moved it. This just didn’t work out for us, but was unable to return it. Losing money here lately from my ordering. Be sure that you really need this and that you are able to return it, if not satisfied before losing almost $100…

Thus may work for others but did not work well for my 85 year old cousin. It helped a little and a little help is better than no help. He does not move in his sleep. I think his body weight pushed the pillow out of position. He’s only about 5’7” 150 lbs . The larger pillow slips out. The smaller pillow is great for propping his head up while in his side. It’s worth a try. Costly for what you get. I still would recommend it because our loved ones need all the help they can get.

I needed an adjustable cushion for when my mother had been bed ridden. This was very practical and versatile and very much needed in making sure her position in bed was protective and comfortable.
