I received my package today and tried it in water. It readily dissolves in water,has no tastes of it own, little bit bitter but that is manageable. You get clear water when mixed, I squeezed in half a lemon and it tastes good. Go for it without any doubt. The reviews are mixed but I guarantee that it has no shell or any flavor.

I judge my supplements on performance, not flavor, which is a good thing because this unflavored EAA powder tastes absolutely awful. It has a bitter, chemical aftertaste that lingers long after you finish drinking it. If you are ordering this, learn from my mistake and get the blueberry flavor instead .However, if you can choke it down, the formula is highly effective. I noticed a significant decrease in muscle soreness after intense training sessions, and my recovery time improved noticeably. It mixes reasonably well without clumping. Buy this for the excellent ingredient profile and recovery benefits, but definitely stick to a flavored option like blueberry.

I bought this after needing a more affordable option over another product I was using. This one actually has higher doses of EAA’s and includes the major AA’s that I couldn’t find in other fitness supplements and BCAA/ EAA supplements. I got the unflavored to throw into my protein shakes and it truly is unflavored. I will say however I tried it just with juice and it had a slightly funky aftertaste and smell. Nothing bad just not ideal, so I personally recommend a smoothie or protein shake. It mixes well, and doesn’t leave clumps (both blended and with a shaker bottle). I definitely notice a difference after my training sessions when I don’t take it, more soreness and longer recovery than when I take it. I take this almost everyday so I appreciate the affordable price. However it would be nice to have a bigger option

To the people bemoaning the bad taste. Yes, it tastes bitter and unpleasant but you get used to it. You're an adult. If you can't overcome that, then feel free to add sugar or fake sugar to get the flavored version. Overall, this is a great product. It's pure EAAs, no garbage fillers, no taste enhancers, flavors or any of that toxic stuff. What's great about these EAAs is that they're so pure they don't even trigger an insulin response, at least in my experience. You can even take them while water fasting. They're not going to mess with your fast.

When mixed with water it tastes like chalk. Worse than chalk honestly and the after taste is horrid.

I love Nutricost products, i have a few different ones and they all work really well. The ingredients are perfect. But the bitterness is really strong. I mixed it into a highly flavored protein drink and it still over powered the taste. I can only use 1/2 a scoop at a time. its tolerable but still noticeable. Will try to get a flavored version next time!

i decided to add this to my stack and have been taking a full scoop for a few weeks, i’m in a deficit and this helped me preserve muscle mass while shredding down bf i’ve also experienced some appetite suppression post consumption. so five stars from me, taste isn’t great but its a supplement not starbucks👍

I wish i read more reviews about the taste because no matter how good this performs or works, its the most absolute WORST supplement i have ever tasted in my life. it literally tastes like poison and i was on the brink of throwing up when i put this into water. even putting one serving into my protein shake which usually tastes good, it made my entire shake taste disgusting. By far one of the worst things ive tasted in my life. yes its THAT BAD and i cant refund it. so im just going to throw it in the trash and take it on the chin.

I ordered my EAA flavourless, and it's very very bitter. It's ruins all my shakes, I wondering how such a taste is not rectified by the company yet.

اخذت المنتج على انه بدون نكهه لكن للاسف طعم المنتج سيء سيء جدا طعم المنتج مر الى درجه لا يمكن تحملها حاولت اخلطه مع نكهات ثاني لكن للاسف مافي اي نتيجه. واشك ان المنتج فاسد او منهي صلاحيته او مخزن بطريقة سيئه. لان جربت من قبل شركة ثانيه كان الطعم مقبول. الان مضطر اني اخذ منتج غيره.
