Great product. Good design and well made.

This Mason Butterfly, Bee, and Bug house is thoughtfully constructed and very well made. It also makes for a charming addition to any backyard or garden area. It is coated in beeswax to increase its weather-ability. If one does decide to paint, be sure to investigate that whatever paint or stain used is not toxic to the guests this house is trying to attract. We are looking forward to seeing the new home owners!

i hung on a nail using the back bracket but also secured to fence post with top jute. waxed to protect from weather. suppose to face sunrise since bees need to warm in the morning. mine is currently facing west. i suppose i could try locating on a tree facing east...? but this house is very solid. might need to get a bird barrier as i believe woodpeckers may attempt to feed on bees living here. i have a camera focused on the house to watch how it goes.

EDIT: The company followed up with me extensively to try to figure out what happened and how to remedy the problem. They sent me a new bee house in hopes that the one I originally received was an anomaly. I feel confident they have a real interest in providing a quality product. Customer Service has been excellent. I have not yet hung the replacement in the garden but, at first glance, it does appear to be more sturdy. I have spent years getting rid on non native and invasive plants on my property and replacing with natives to help the pollinators and other critters have a more balanced ecosystem. I added this little house because it could prove useful and look cute. Pollinators started using it immediately so I was thrilled. Unfortunately, after a few weeks the brackets holding the rope used to hang it just popped off and it dropped to the ground and broke apart. Great idea, looks great, just not well made.

Very well made mason bee house. Easy to hang. It has weathered very well in garden. I haven’t noticed any mason bees but still hopeful

It's just as it was pictured. Well made and a nice addition to my yard.

Good for beginners like me. If you buy your cocoons then the bottom section can be used to set them in to "hatch". I left it partially open to shield from birds eating them, but left them a littke room to fly out. The cardboard tubes are all one size and for single season. Recommend natural reeds, not bamboo, sold with various sizes for different size bees and are easy to break open to harvest cocoons and save for next year.

I had high hopes for this bee hotel, but it turned out to be a total buzzkill. Here’s why: Not as Advertised: It’s marketed as durable and weather-resistant, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Not Waterproof: It didn’t hold up against even light rain. Despite claims of being waterproof, the wood began to swell, causing the roof slabs to detach. Nonexistent Customer Support: This issue happened only a month after purchase, conveniently just past Amazon’s money-back guarantee. Pollibee offers no customer support whatsoever. Overall: I deeply regret this purchase. The bees deserve better, and so do you. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Holy cheesy title !! This item works great , new location and already have 3 full tubes.

The construction of the bee house is great. Looks great. HOWEVER ..... much of the wax coating is missing. Had read several reviews that wax coating was inconsistent .... was hoping that seller would have dealt with this issue ... not so much. VERY POOR CONSIDERING SELLER KNOWS OF THIS ISSUE. We are at the end of mason bee season ... so no time to return current bee house (1 week) and get another (another week)

First rainfall and all the wax on top came off. Was expecting better for the price.
