S-95 - Avalla Air Conditioning Unit, 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner - 7000 BTU – Dehumidifier 20L, Fan & Cooling Mode for up to 68m³ Large Coverage, Low Energy, 24hr Timer, Remote & Window Vent Kit

I’ve been umming & erring on getting an AC unit for a couple of years. The recent hot spell clinched it for me to buy one. Ordered this based on reviews and reasonable cost. The S95 unit is pretty tidy and compact. It comes with 150mm exhaust hose to vent hot air out the window and comes with the fixing kit to vent out of a sash window. I modified the supplied fitting to fit a ply board that fits my windows but fabric kits are widely available. The hose is a decent length and flexible enough. Fitting to unit and vent is simple and robust. Noise wise it’s not quiet (see video) but expectations need to be realistic for a unit of this type. It’s white noise so not hard to tune it out and I can sleep through it. I measured at 55db on my Apple watch from a few feet away. Paired with a smart plug this machine holds its previous setting so it’s a doddle to turn it on or off with Alexa and instruct Alexa to run the AC for a period of time. Handy in the night to whisper to Alexa to turn it on if you wake up hot or want to set it to run for an hour or so whilst dropping off or cool the bedroom before coming upstairs. The unit isn’t too heavy and has castors so it’s easy to move from room to room. It works well and cools our rooms down quickly to a comfortable temperature (circa 35sqm rooms). The unit has an onboard tank for the condensated water - this evaporates in use and so shouldn’t need draining unless really humid. The unit switches off if the tank gets too full, then needs draining. If being operated for a period un monitored there is a drain pipe option. Obstructions provided are clear and straightforward. Delivery was amazingly quick - next day in my case. All in all very happy with my purchase.

Oh yeah... It works. I have an extended loft bedroom that gets direct sunlight all day and into the evening and it's a sauna. 33 degrees at night!! I couldn't take it anymore. 7,000 btu at first seemed a little underpowered for my needs, but this first night has proved me happily wrong. In the first 20 minutes on the lowest fan speed, it dropped the temp from 33C to 29C, very impressive. After 1 hour the temp was at 23C. 23 is comfortable enough for me (it feels arctic after 4 nights of 31-33) so I turned it off but it seems to be a powerful little machine. Yes it's noisy, I don't think I could sleep with it on. Too many random noises like bearings rattling and buzzing. But it will absolutely cool a room down. I bought a fabric zip window cover as my windows open sideways and out but the included horizontal window kit is very sturdy and well made, shame I can't use it. The AC itself feels sturdy and looks sleek and modern. It has wheels so it can be rolled around, although it is heavy and awkward to carry up and down stairs. The included hose is plenty long enough to reach even tall windows.

Overall, good product. It's very noisy if you want to sleep, which is a bit mad considering this has a lower dba than many on the market. But, fine. It cooled our large living room into the office (we have a large, classic terraced house) on a 27 degree day but I wish it worked a tiny bit faster and I'm not sure how it would perform at 36 degrees. In the first hour you really need to be sitting in the stream to get the benefit of it. By the spec on this it should be one of the top performing units, but I'm not sure it is, and I don't have a comparison product at home. For what it costs, it's a great purchase, as equal products from Argos/Curry's are very expensive. If you have a hinge opening window you'll definitely need to order the velcro attach window seals. We also LOVE the dehumidify option and it has saved loads of time for drying clothes on rainy days. One warning though: IT'S VERY HEAVY!!! If you are like us and plan to move it between upstairs and down fair warning you will be getting a work out.

Works a treat. I haven't got the right window kit yet, but even with the vent hose hung out of the window, (and no breeze), it cools my bedroom by 5° in 20 minutes, as well as bringing down the humidity. This is my first home air conditioner, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but one weekend, the temperature hit 30° + humid, and my air conditioner cooled my room and dehumidified very nicely. All this is without the open window sealed, so it'll be excellent once my window kit arrives. I'll say to anyone who buys any air conditioner: let it stand upright for 24 hours, and, obviously to most people, use the heat vent hose. I can't help wonder that a few people leaving bad reviews aren't doing these important things properly.

I’m really impressed with the Avalla S-95. It’s compact, powerful, and super easy to set up with the included window vent kit. It cools my room down very quickly, and the fan and dehumidifier modes are a great bonus, especially on humid days. One thing I was particularly concerned about was the energy consumption, but I checked it with my smart meter and was pleasantly surprised. It costs me only around 12p to 15p per hour, depending on the temperature setting and how hard it’s working. For the amount of cooling it provides, that’s very reasonable. The noise level is perfectly acceptable—more like a background white noise that I actually find quite soothing. The remote control, timer, and portability with the wheels make it really convenient to use. Overall, a fantastic product that does exactly what it promises—keeps the room cool, fresh, and comfortable without sending the energy bill soaring. Highly recommended!

Does what it says on the tin - cools well enough on a sweltering day. It has a basic control system with a very loud fan, that’s on all the time, whether or not it cooling. It has two settings - loud, or louder. No good at all to have on whilst sleeping. The sleep mode only dulls the display slightly, rather than slow down the fans and cooling (to reduce noise). The thermostat only controls the cooling circuit , not fans.

Un aire acondicionado maravilloso, merece la pena el precio. ¡Funciona de maravilla! Pros: - Enfría y refresca la habitación; de momento me ha servido para los primeros días de calor y humedad, intentaré actualizar cuando se ponga peor. El mínimo es de 16ºC y el máximo de 32ºC - Modos: Aire acondicionado (que tiene una opción de dormir donde se incrementa 1ºC cada hora hasta que la temperatura de tu habitación sea menor que la seleccionada), deshumificador y ventilador. - Aspectos físicos: la apertura del aire es muy amplia y se puede ajustar su nivel, aunque no se mueve automáticamente. Tiene una pantalla en frente donde puedes ver la temperatura y el modo (aire acondicionado o ventilador/deshumificador). Es muy fácil de mover ya que tiene ruedas debajo (4) y dos agarradores a los lados. - Opciones: temporizador, 2 modos de potencia - Qué incluye el paquete: tiene con un mando que tiene todas las funciones mencionadas, además de para encender/apagar, manual de instrucciones, kit de ventana y tubo de extracción del aire. - Kit de ventana: yo he conseguido usar este kit de ventana en una ventana desplazable lateralmente (ya que el vendedor recomienda ventanas de guillotina). Se me quedaba como 0,5cm de hueco a los lados al cerrar la ventana, así que le puse cinta acolchada del bazar y me sirve! Contras: - El ruido es alto; te acostumbras o puedes ponerte cascos, o intentar ponerlo más lejos de ti. - Tarda 10 segundos en encenderse/apagarse.

Raffresca e deumidifica. Fa il suo lavoro egregiamente per essere un 7000btu. Unica piccola pecca la ventola che fa un po' di brusio,ma è accettabile dato che è un portatile. Ma alla fine sono soddisfatto del mio acquisto. Un 8 su 10 meritato.

Quien dice que este aparato hace ruido, es que no ha tenido más aparatos de este tipo antes. Va genial, enfría mucho y muy rápido, hace poco ruido sobre todo en el modo más flojo, por este precio es una joya, mi verano es mucho mejor gracias a este aparato súper portable.

Appena ricevuto ho infilato il tubo nel muro e attaccato al climatizzatore. Devo dire che appena 10 minuti dopo averlo acceso il freddo e' stato di tipo polare cioè con grosso stupore devo dire che fa veramente tanto freddo. La consegna e' andata bene, istruzioni in italiano prodotto consegnato perfetto senza botte sul cartone. Il tutto perfettamente funzionante per adesso. Vedremo poi in futuro se funzionerà ancora bene. Per adesso un 5 meritato.

The product is fine, cools down the room, although a little bit noisy. The problem is the delivery. The seller chose GLS, which is the worst delivery company. They don’t do home delivery, with different excuses. So you need to take it yourself, which is not easy for 20 kg unit.
