Just as pictured!
Purchased for a school project and it was just perfect. Sized well and a good value. This could be used for any period dress, not just Helen Keller. The color and materials were as pictured and well made. My daughter loved it!

Worked for daughter’s project
Daughter had a history project that required her to dress the role of her subject. In this case, as you can imagine, she researched Hellen Keller and used this costume for her presentation. Overall costume was true to photos. The material was little stiff and scratchy but a quick gently wash and air dry helped out. The rear zipper was ok, but could see issues if this costume was worn multiple times. Fit was good and overall a good value for the money.

My daughter wore this on literary character day at school (The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place) because it was the best example I could find of a Victorian dress. I'm blown away by the quality and she got tons of compliments! The fit is true to size or maybe a tiny bit big. Will keep for future school events and pass down to friends.

Authentic Historical Costume.
LOTS of complements. Everyone was amazed at the quality of the item! We even found a picture showing Helen Keller wearing a similar dress!! My granddaughter did a report and presentation on Helen Keller, then the 3rd to 5th graders did a "wax" museum where people pressed a button and they gave a little speech on the character. Even a little kindergarten boy looked at her and said your dress is really cute!

Great quality costume
This is a very well made costume. Very pretty and true to size. I ordered a size medium for my 9 year old and it fit perfectly. The only complaint and the reason for the 4 ⭐️ is that my daughter complained that she felt like the collar was choking her. It wasn’t tight but she just couldn’t stand how it felt and she out right refused to wear it after trying it on. Unfortunately I returned it.
