Makes a good privacy hedge.
It came in a roll but it is made up of sections that snap together to allow different shapes and sizes. The leafs are snapped onto the mesh and using leafs from left over parts the density can be increased to make it almost solid looking. We like it on our balcony railing. The leaves have a real enough look to them.

Beautiful from afar but tacky and shiny up close, and they’ll eventually shed.
The title covers everything, as does the fake ivy. I’ve bought around ten of these panels over the past five years or so, and obviously like them well enough to keep buying, but their tendency to randomly generate weird litter is worth mentioning. Sometimes they arrive well made and fine to last at least a few years, and other times they’re falling apart from the get-go and trashing your neighborhood with deceptively leafy plastic. They all fade and shed quite a bit eventually, given enough time and weather. In other words, I like this solution, but also feel guilty about it and know many people who’d be upset by the trash factor. Nothing’s worse than zero privacy, so do what you have to do, just maybe not as a long-term fix.

Great looking but life limited
Looks great. But FYI I used this on a trellis in south Florida. It lasted one year and then literally disintegrated. Now I’m not sure how many products could actually last under a blazing sun but thought info would help in decision making. So I just replaced it after a year because it does look good while still intact.

Breaking after only 3 months in Dallas weather
So, I’ve purchased 13 of these 96”x72” panels from this seller. 6 of them about 18 months ago, and then 7 more 3 months ago. Right out of the box they were already losing leaves left and right, but I didn’t return them because they were the only ones I could find that were the exact right size to fit the sections of my wraught iron fence. As many other reviewers have said, the ivy looks decent from a ways away, especially if you don’t stare at it. But once you’re within 10 yards it doesn’t fool anyone. Probably mostly due to the leaves all being the exact same size, and then secondarily because you can see the plastic backing thru the patches where the leaves have fallen off. But still, for what it is it was serving its purpose well enough. Until the last few days, when 3 of the 7 panels I purchased most recently all started ripping off the fence. I was thinking the wind must’ve snapped the zip ties, but in fact it’s the entire plastic backing has become super brittle and weak and just snaps as soon as you attach a zip tie. And not just here & there…I’m talking THE ENTIRE BACKING, every little segment of plastic just breaks immediately. It’s really frustrating because I’m not left with feasible options. I’m outside the window for returning them, and I don’t have any confidence in any replacements I might order. And if I were to buy different ones from another seller, they wouldn’t match and the overall appearance would just look EXTRA fake and trashy. Even if it’s just a quality control thing, and I just so happened to get a few bad/defective ones, I still would encourage potential buyers to be wary because at $70 per panel they’re not exactly cheap.
