I have a few different oximeters laying around and as this one was new I compared the readings. What I found was that the initial reading was usually a little off, but after giving an additional five seconds or so it would level out to the same readings as my other ones. Overall it's a decent pick. this reader has a nice large readout and given a few seconds it works well.

Love this- it was very easy to use from the start and gives accurate readings. The instructions say it may not work well if your fingers are cold and I found this to be true. Make sure both your fingers and the gadget are both room temperature before using.
