Minimal Whitecast, SPF30, Love the Flavors!
Bought in both Coconut and the Watermelon and love them! The Watermelon definitely tastes like Watermelon, and so does the Coconut mostly (though it's less strong)? Which I'm fine with because it's an appealing flavor. They have a very solid chapstick-like texture, so don't buy them if you're expecting a lip gloss. I can't use most chemical/organic lip SPF because they inevitably coat the inside of my mouth with that weird oily, chemically taste which is terrible because you have to reapply lip sunscreen a lot more frequently then you do on your face. Long story short I was happy to find these in a 30 SPF with almost no whitecast. Only wish they'd make this in 50+SPF!

Great product
Eos is my go to lip balm. I love the sweet mint flavor the beat. I am not so crazy about coconut but it seems to be the flavor for the sunscreen version so I got it. The sun screen seems drier and harder than the Eos in the balls. It does not go on as smoothly. But I need a sunscreen formula so it will have to do.

Kinda dry but very protective!
A bit waxy but did the job.

Coconut SPF 30 lip balm - beware of white tinted lips
Eos coconut lip balm with SPF 30 smells so good and is great if I'm in need of sun protection on my lips; however, this lip balm is VERY thick (almost waxy feeling) on my lips and turns my lips white if I put on too much. If I dab it onto my lips, I avoid turning my lips into white waxed lips and am able to top with a tinted balm.

My lips are sunburned after using this product
This chapstick is rock hard. It *does not* spread at all. It does not swipe across your lips— you have to really tug. It’s a sunscreen stick that was molded in to a chapstick. When you finally get it applied it leaves major white cast. It just sits on your lips and it’s not a good look…it’s weird looking. My lips are sunburned because of this product. They’re bubbling and swollen. The chapstick didn’t go on properly to begin with and the little that did go on came off quickly. Update: My lips were *not* sunburned. I had a bad reaction to the product. I have a rash and blisters around my mouth. My lips are peeling/cracking and the sides of my mouth are cracked.

One of the only lip balms I can use
I used Blistex Raspberry Lemonade lipbalm for years. Was my all time fave. To the point that when I found it somewhere, I would buy several tubes of it. And then suddenly, I had these huge, blistered, oozing lips. We thought it was from the SPF, but it was not. After many doctor visits and trial and error, it turns out it was the artificial "flavor/scent" getting into microcracks in my skin on my lips and I was reacting to them. Now began the process of finding a lipbalm that I DIDN'T have an allergic reaction to. I have about 10 different "flavors" of this brand and have not had one that I have reacted to...with and without SPF. They go on smooth and moisturize well. Thankfully, they offer twist sticks rather than just the egg. That was just too much for me. Highly recommend. Will continue to purchase. They last a long time as well. I have several so that I can keep one in my purse, one next to my bed, one in my car, etc. and several to my daughter. My daughter actually uses them to set her eyebrows...whatever that means. That's above my pay grade or makeup skill level. =]

White Cast & Drying, But Good for Water Sports
I'm a huge fan of EOS products, especially their lotions and lip balms, but *not* this one. This is my first time purchasing their SPF balm, and I definitely won't be repurchasing 😅 The Sun Protect balm leaves a crazy white cast on my lips, and my lips aren't dark. It's very thick, so I'm sure it's very water-resistant, but the combination of the white cast and being super drying makes it a no-go for me. I've used other 15-30 SPF balms from other brands that don't have these issues, so I think it's just a bad formulation on EOS's part. I would say this would probably be a good choice if you're going to be doing water sports, as the balm really doesn't smudge out of place and lasts quite a while. Just be sure to moisture with a nice balm afterward 😊

I loved it, a good product. They recommended it to me and they were right about how good it is.
