Must Read for Karters Duh!
Excellent just excellent! This book is the 101 of kart racing. It might require more depth if you are looking to tune your racing that last .2s to get you to win. However it is fabulous to get you from being horrible to being decent.

Hands down, the best karting book on the market.
Only about half way through, but honestly this book is blowing my mind!I'm an older driver, but new to karting, and have my kids karting too (2 in kid karts, 1 in cadet) - I've been improving steadily, and starting to get closer and closer to the front pack. But some of the new ideas and perspectives that this book is opening up for me are truly revolutionary for my approach - particularly the chapters on mental discipline, and kart loading. The braking chapter by itself was a kick in the butt as it made me realize I was getting a little lazy in the braking zones!I'm desperate to get to the track and experiment now - it's really given me a huge enthusiasm boost. The book is far exceeding my expectationsHonestly there are so many kart books that just talk about caster/camber/toe/ride height etc without bothering to talk about the physical and psychological aspects, let alone the 'feel' of what you're trying to achieve, this book is such a breath of fresh air.

Really exceeded my expectations.. I'm already seeing noticeable improvements in my driving
I've had the privilege to work with Terence a few years ago in my karting days. I've been racing Formula Cars now and I have to say.. the fundamentals and techniques I learnt with him, are still helping me develop as a racing driver all round. This book has been an eye-opener in so many ways. It’s extremely comprehensive and super applicable to pretty much everyone who drives a kart. What’s great is that Terence really understands that each driver is unique. So he guides you to find and develop your own style. Unlike many other ‘coaches’ who try force their style or technique. You also learn how to self-coach yourself, which is the best part.I’ve recently moved UP a category shall I say, from Formula Renault into KZ. I've found the techniques in this book have been helping me make rapid progress.I can really recommend this book to anyone at every level of Karting. Seriously wish I had it 5 years ago

So much insight for so little money. Seek to understand all of it.
A must read for anyone karting.Having been involved in karting for 69 years I have read a bit."zen and the art of archery "was helpful as were the writings of Keith code on biking. This book is cerebral and technical.Dove accepts there is moreThan one way to go fast and let's you find your own way.its philosophic,it explains,it gives you the tools to learn.

Good read for new karters
The book breaks down the elements of karting into digestible categories and does well to provide practical application of these. I would recommend this and the Haynes Karting Manual to those now getting started in karting.

Mandatory reading for all Kart Drivers!
After reading many books on the subject, I can easily say that Terence Dove's latest publication "Learn How To Master The Art Of Kart Driving" is mandatory literature for all kart drivers who wish to rise above the competition. It is not easy to gather both technical and practical knowledge (specially about kart driving) and being able, at the same time, to put it all together in an easy going and enjoyable read. I find Terence Dove's writing style truly amazing in that sense.Totally recommend it!

Confidence
As a college student, I haven't got much time or money to get on the track. This book helped me feel much more confident about my knowledge of kart racing so that the time I DO get to spend on the track is incredibly worthwhile. It addresses a lot of the general knowledge out there and explains it all well. My favorite part is that it doesn't TELL you how to drive. It simply puts all the useful stuff in one place and lets you decide how you want to drive.

Well written and interesting read, with little fluff
I've read a number of books on racing cars, but none on karting specifically. Most of the concepts are the same, but there are some differences. I liked the approach in this book of enabling a driver to help themselves and have even applied some of that to daily life. The author provides a number of good ideas to try and I've already benefitted from practicing some in a road race and a couple of indoor kart races.
