Kayuragi Incense Sticks - Wisteria by Nippon KODO, Japanese Quality Incense

I’ve gotten into incense over the last and after watching Demon Slayer got the idea of wanting to try a wisteria one. This one in particular is Japanese incense and is one of the short sticks. It comes in a nice box & the sticks themselves are in an additional wooden box with the paper wrap. The sticks are a nice purple color. The wisteria scent is nice and sweet though maybe a bit strong, but I like it. Would definitely recommend burning outside or if indoors, in a large open room due to the strength. So overall I think the product is great. Price is fair. You get a good amount of sticks. Comes in a nice box for storage & even includes a small stand for the sticks. While the scent is strong, it’s sweet & floral.

The fragrance is beautiful. Floral and slightly powdery. I burn a couple sticks. I burn one in the main area of the house and one in the back and the fragrance is glorious. The fragrance is very subtle and calming.

If you're accustomed to the regular (and cheaper) Nippon Kodo incense sticks, which come 200 to a box, be prepared for a very different experience. These Kayuragi sticks are much, much stronger. I have a two-story house and usually burn five or six sticks of the regular Nippon Kodo incense downstairs (the fragrance wafts upstairs) to scent my 2,000 sf house. With these Kayuragi incense sticks, two sticks downstairs was all it took. (They fit in the same small holder as the regular Nippon Kodo incense, and you get one of these small holders in the Kayuragi box as well.) The wisteria fragrance is an elegant true floral with a powdery undertone. I will be ordering more of it. It won't replace the regular Nippon Kodo incense, which I still like, but will supplement it. One thing I've learned to do is fill a small votive candle holder with salt (1/2-inch), and stick the fragile Nippon Kodo incense sticks into it as a quick way of standing them up. When the incense burns down to the level of the salt, the stick simply stops burning. The salt does not catch on fire or smoke, and there is no burning smell from the salt. This is handy when you want to burn several sticks at the same time. It also allows you to have the sticks, when lit, sit perfectly vertical, with none of the slight lean you get if you use the small ceramic burners that come with the incense. I can get a couple of weeks out of a single votive candle holder's worth of salt. Works well for me, thought I'd pass it on.

The smell of this product is absolutely intoxicating Lee amazing! It lingers long, and burns slow. My only issue with this is, it only burns until the very tip of the holder. So you will constantly have small pieces of incense that are always leftover and never burned. I’ve tried putting the inside several different ways to see if it would burn through and it never worked. The reason I gave this four stars instead of five, it’s because of that annoying piece that will always be left that does not burn.

Has a true scent without being overpowering, very low smoke

Long story short, my autism and schizophrenia mixed, so now when I light one of these bad boys the hallucinations go away. Thank you demon slayer! They last about 30 minutes, the quality is amazing, the ashes are really easy to clean up as well.

Yuck didn't smell like wisteria at all

The wisteria is pleasant. The sticks are very fragile. Some broke when taking them out of the box so be careful with them.
