extremely comfortable and lightweight boots only just had them but they feel good quality and robust I’m size 5.5 and size 6 would normally be a good fit for me, I did try the 6 which were a tad too small so now have size 7!! next stop Snowdon

I purchased this as a replacement to my version 2 which I has successfully trekked to Everest base camp, all over New Zealand and many other interesting rugged places. The pioneer 3 is a slightly slimmer fit and misses the more rugged cover on top of the toe - but otherwise the look and feel seem the same. Note I expect the waterproof to be similar to the previous model ie if you walk through lots of sodden grass / bogs etc they will get wet but dry out quickly and feet have remained reasonably well protected. There is a newer version but I found them to be way to slim fitting buying a bigger size doesn't really work either.

Very comfortable walking boots with good tread ! They do fall small of normal shoe sizes if you like your toes to have a little room in your boots . I’m 5.5-6 so I bought size 6.5 and they are perfect 👌. Good value for money. Will see how they do in the mud and rain on the fells in the winter months .

This item is not waterproof as the description states, despite claiming to be made of goretex. Your feet will get wet if the ground is wet or muddy. This is not a good hiking boot unless you are in good weather. I do not recommend spending the money on these - I had to send mine back for a refund.

I have these in the shoe style and expected this boot style to fit exactly the same seeing as the only difference is the height of the ankle cuff. They are too shallow in the toe box and are not as comfortable. I wish I’d returned them but I expected to be able to wear them in like my other pair.
