Sauder Palladia High Boy TV Stand, For Tv's up to 50", Select Cherry finish

Ordered to replace an overpowering large cabinet with doors in our bedroom. Arrived when promised in good condition. Very securely packaged, no observed damage to parts. Each part is precision made including fastener locations.I found nothing that did not align, when assembled precisely according to the directions. This is made of particle board, but a better grade than particleboard available at the lumberyard. Assembly took several hours, (I am an experienced DIY and woodworking enthusiast) When assembling, be careful to assemble in the order in the manual, and carefully select parts. Most parts were clearly marked, and all necessary hardware was in the package. This is a very heavy piece of furniture, due to the particle board construction. The package as delivered weighed well over 100 lb.and required 2 persons to handle.

I really like this TV stand for the extra storage space. All my Wii stuff fits in the drawers nicely and I even put all my cookbooks in the left side shelves! The finish is very pretty, but may scratch easy, so be careful when assembling. There are a ton of pieces, but if your like me & like puzzles just take your time and you will have a beautiful piece when done. Definitely takes two people, it is Very heavy! I used a black permanent marker to touch up any scratches, blended right in with the dark rich cherry finish. I also used the marker on all those edges that don't quite match up and wow, looks like it came off the show room floor! It sits up higher than my other stand and that is much better, keeps the little ones off the LCD screen, gotta love 'em! My husband was very impressed with it but said he would pay someone to put it together! Took me about six hours to finish using a cordless screw driver with a few readjustments here & there. If your willing to put in the time you'll save a lot of money which I don't have...

This unit had exactly the features I was looking for. On the downside - I wish there was a choice for a lighter wood color. Although there were a lot of separate pieces the instructions were the best I have ever seen for this type of furniture and was assembled easily with a screwdriver and hammer. The edge of several pieces were damaged when I opened the box, but the cardboard box looked fine, so its hard to tell when the damage occurred. I gave Sauder's customer service department a call and they sent replacement pieces the same week without giving me any hassles. Beware that furniture of this type is heavier than "real" wood, In this case that's probably a good thing, since I wouldn't want a high TV stand with a big flatscreen TV to get tipped over easily. The unit is very sturdy.

I purchased this Sauder High Boy for my new 43" Sony HD TV. I am super pleased with the quality of this high boy. It looks way more expensive than $200 and the drawers glide easily. While the 3 knobs that came with the high boy were nice I found the silver color a distraction when I was watching the TV so I replaced them with identical black knobs I purchased at Menards. The screws on the Menards knobs were too long so I used the screws that came with the silver knobs. My handyman assembled the high boy. It took him about 30 minutes. All the parts were in the box so the assembly went well. I purchased safety straps on Amazon so the TV can''t tip over. The black straps are hidden behind the TV. The High Boy looks great!

Beautiful TV stand... I had some trouble putting it together so I had to call the company for a few replacements. The company was amazing to work with. The stand is actually easy to put together... we just didn't read the directions and used the wrong screws at one point. The stand is strong and sturdy which was my main concern with an old heavy TV and a toddler that likes to climb. I would definitely buy it again without hesitation. It is worth every penny.

I needed a TV stand that stood tall, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It looks handsome for a piece of particle board furniture, with a nice cherry wood finish. It was relatively easy to put together; it is a standard cam-lock + dowel + screw setup. The stand has plenty of storage space and had enough top space for my 51 inch HDTV. All-in-all I am satisfied.

I love the stand it is exactly what I wanted. It is in my home office for storage of office supplies. The only small thing it came in broken. It was broken on top, but in the back of the stand. I did not want to send it back. I put a covering on the top and it is hidden. The color matches my desk and file cabinets. It is perfect. My husband put it together and stated it was very easy directions. It is a good product and love it in my office. Thank You

It is a beautiful piece of furniture. I does not look like it was assembled at home. It took longer than I expected to assemble but that was me, not the instructions or the difficulty as it was not difficult to build. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
