This pool cover does its job. It kept my pool protected and debris free while warming the pool water up a little bit. I like that it’s dark to contrast my blue pool and it looks much nicer & more expensive than my old cover. The actual material is nice and thick without being too heavy- meaning with practice one person can put the cover on. It fits perfectly and stays on on the wind, however you can see in one of my pictures after a storm the cover has shifted a bit. Overall this cover has worked all summer to protect my pool. It’s nice material didn’t rip and stayed on during several bad summer storms with very high winds. Pictures are from my security camera bc I didn’t take pics of the cover while it was in use. I will use the cover again next year.

Love this cover! Sturdy and great value

I have been buying this 13 foot pool cover every year for several years. It has worked great. However, the last time I bought it, there were many drain holes right in the center of the cover, and the drain holes towards the edge were moved away from the edge and towards the center. This put the drain holes right into the water and causes the pool cover to sink very quickly into my pool within a day. When it sinks into my pool, it essentially doesn’t even function as a pool cover anymore because it sinks to the bottom and all the leaves and garbage end up in the pool anyway. Previous years this was not a problem just this last purchase had this issue. Otherwise, this is a great pool cover when the drain holes are put in the right place.

Lasted longer then the pool

Granted I live in Northern California and the summers here are hot, but this cover is dangerous! I have a 13'x 33" Intex soft side pool. It was getting a bit dirty on the bottom so after cleaning it I decided to put on this cover. I left the chlorine float in the water and simply covered it. Two days later my grandson (4 years old) came over to swim. The ad says that this will "retain heat" for consistent pool temperature. As soon as I slid the cover off, I realized that there was steam coming off of it. YES, steam! The pool water was so hot it actually scalded my hand. I've never seen anything like it! I turned on the pump and noticed that the top maybe six inches of water was kind of glossy. The heat from the water had melted all of the chlorine tablets in two days and the entire pool was a steaming pot of super chlorinated water. I'm not talking bath water. I'm talking boiling water that you take off the heat. And not just the top layer. It was scalding hot even down at the bottom. I had to use a broom handle to push down the side of the pool to let about a third of the water out then just let it start draining from the bottom opening. I started the hose to fill it back up and it took nearly 2 hours before it was even cool enough for what I'd call warm bathwater. Had I taken the cover off and let my grandson jump in without checking it, there is no doubt he would've been hospitalized with burns over his entire body. The quality and materials are good and it does heat the water, but if you are living in a state where the temperatures get over 100 °, I suggest you skip this cover. This story could've turned out very differently!

I love the way it fit across the pool however it needs to have more than one ties. A good wind can come and if it gets up underneath of it there it goes. Where the rope ties needs to be more secured because it ripped right where you tie it. However I did a repair job on that and I'm still using it. Just needs a little bit of a tweak here and there to secure it to the top of the pool.

Fine & def useful. Holes are for ventilation & I guess to reduce condensation. Be careful to not over tighten, as this will pull the stitching right

Fits perfectly and keeps all kinds of debris out of the pool. The ties keep it from blowing off in the win

Buy with the pool. Unlike myself I purchased after. The little holes are for evaporation the cover keeps out leaves and other debris.

Easy to install and remove.

Its wider than as presented so the cover sits on my pool water and when it rains the cover fills up which becomes heavy and isn't as easy to remove after there has been rain. If the size was made to make a snug fit it would be perfect.
