I haven’t used these (and honestly hope I never have to) but they have everything they promised in one compact tool. The only thing I wish it had was a clip to be able to put it on a visor or the seat pocket so it is easily accessible and stays put.

I bought a round of these for our vehicles and our family several years ago. We attach a hair elastic to them and hang them from our directional light lever, so they're always in reach if there's an emergency. I know two people who would have lived longer if they'd had these. One, an elderly friend, rolled her Jeep one snowy day, and was unable to get out of her seatbelt. She survived, but she hung upside down for half an hour before someone came along and freed her. She never fully healed. The other was sadly a local woman who went into the river one night during a snow storm. The snow covered her tracks by morning and it took three days to locate her. It's a small river, not very deep, but she couldn't get out of her car once it hit the water. These are such an easy way to show someone you care! I just bought another round for friends and provided them with unused hair elastics to attach them the same way we've attached ours. I always ask them to watch the "how to" video on youtube which shows you how to place the tool in the very corner of the window to break it, and to do a pretend-practice of pulling it off the steering wheel and pretending to slice their seat belt, so they have that muscle memory in the event of an emergency. For a few dollars, you could save a life. I hope none that I bought ever need to be used, but I'm glad everyone has one in every vehicle, just in case.

As a firefighter, everyone should have one of these in their vehicle. I have used these countless times in training and on scene as a responder and has yet to fail. Just the other day I came apon an accident and the one driver wasn't able to open his door, without a second thought I was able to quickly open the window and get eyes on the driver and continue care until emergency crews arrived. It is not a one time use item, it can be used again and again if it needs to be. The size is perfect to keep on your keys or on the head rest of your car, the colors make it easy to find, and the quick detached clip keeps it in place until you need it.

Tested both the glass breaker and the seatbelt cutter on small sample glass / a roll of seatbelt fabric I got off of amazon for a science lab, and both work as descried! I had to click the breaker twice before the glass shattered, but the seatbelt cutter worked better than another model I tested. Would recommend!

Let's hope I never need to use them. The plastic feels dense and high quality. Love the high vis. Instills confidence. I don't have a good place to strap it in the car... But that's my problem.
