This has saved me from taking out my sew-in! My scalp was very itchy and irritated, and this product immediately calmed my scalp. It’s soothing and has a nice cool feel.

I recently tried a new shampoo and conditioner and it left my scalp so dry and itchy. I have a sew in weave and it was torture trying to scratch the itches under the net. This bottle has a small nozzle so I was actually able to get to my scalp even under all the net and tracks. I put it on at night and by the morning I had no itches. I will say it doesn't work instantly, it probably takes an hour or so but then you will be itch free for (in my experience) multiple days. I've been using it at the halfway point in between washes and I find I only need to use it once so the bottle should last a long time. It does have a strong smell but it sibsides after 30ish minutes.

My scalp is super itchy and flaky. Not dandruff flakes, but more like a small sunburn peeling. This does help, but only for a bit. It seems to keep me from scratching away for a few hours, and I apply it twice a day or more. But it didn’t help anything but the itchy sensation. If that is all you need it for, great. But the flakes still persisted. I finally went to my doctor and he Rx a cream (ketoconazale) that seems to be helping quite a bit. I suggest you see your doctor if you have flaky itchy scalp. It could be something worse than just a little dry skin. The smell is fine for me, very minty. But I could see some people, especially women, not liking it.

I loved the peppermint and it tingles

This is a scalp tonic intended to alleviate itching flaking dry uncomfortable scalp. I would also highly suggest this to be used on tight braids or scalp irritation to soothe the tension. Can be used as a pre poo or leave in scalp treatment. It does have a light waxy after feel when using too much so just keep it on your scalp not so much your hair. It tingles and gives a cooling sensation as well. Great add in to your natural hair regimen.
