So nice, I bought it twice
Update with video April 1, 2026: Video showing the second hand stopped. The background noise is not the clock but a pump 😅 Original: I have two of these Sharp Atomic clocks and honestly love them. I really hate resetting clocks for daylight savings (why is that even still a thing?) and these set themselves. I have two notes though. The first is that they tend to reset themselves in the middle of the night. I work nights, so looking up to find my clock spinning around like it's possessed is a little strange, even after several years. The other thing they both do is in the middle of the night, at the top of the hour like 1, 2, or 3 am, the second hand will stop at 12 for a few minutes. It still tracks minutes perfectly, but from :00 to :04 or so, the second hand is frozen at 12. I have no idea why they do this, couldn't find anything about it anywhere on Google. But, it resumes and keeps perfect time, so it's just an oddity. I'm pretty sensitive to ticking noises, and I cannot hear this clock tick unless my head is right next to it and the room is quiet. 15 feet away on the wall, I don't hear it at night at all, ever. It's a good size I can see across a fairly large room in my home (open floorplan), but isn't enormous or anything. Very simple, classic looking, easy to read clock face too. I'm poor and $40 is a lot for a wall clock. But I don't have to get out a ladder and reset the damn thing twice a year and I find that cost was absolutely worth it to me.

Great clock and accurate
Very happy with this clock. It does take a while for it to find the atomic signal and sync to the correct time but you just need to be patient. I have 2 of them in my house and they are both accurate. The glow is decent but if it's in an area with less light it obviously doesn't glow as well. The numbers are easy to read even at night. It is not a silent clock it does make a deep tick but it's not loud either. Overall a great clock and I would definitely buy more again in the future.

Quick setting automatic clock
Update: I liked the first one so much, I ordered another one with a gray face! If there's one thing I love, it's a functional item that makes my life easier. I hate going around the house twice a year at Daylight Savings time to adjust clocks. This eliminates that! This one is easier than other atomic clocks I've had as well. I just inserted a AA battery, and a few minutes later the clock was synced to the exact time down to the second! What could be easier? It is the perfect size for my kitchen, and is very light so mounting was easy. The large numbers and split hands are both stylish and easy to see. In all, a great value!

Good Clock, Thin Hands
Keeps excellent time, but the hands are hard to see. Plus, the 'glow in the dark' claim is only valid if you spam the thing with a massive spotlight for two minutes.

Clock works as advertised, and is completely silent.
The Sharp "Atomic" clock works as advertised. It receives a time signal via radio from station WWVB at the NIST lab near Fort Collins, CO. A small computer chip in the clock decodes the time signal and uses it to set the hands of the clock. The clock operates silently -- no ticking noise. NIST is the National Institute of Standards and Technology, part of the Commerce Department. The user guide for the clock says that I might need to try positioning the clock on different walls to properly receive the time signal. This was the case for me -- I had the clock on an east-west wall to begin with, and it did not "sync" that first night. I moved the clock to a north-south wall and the second night it synced successfully. When I looked at it the next morning it was displaying the correct time to the second. The user guide also says that signal reception is best at night and that it might not receive a signal during the day. I found this to be the case, too -- the clock did not sync during the daytime. Note that this clock model supports only the four main US time zones: Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific. You set a selector switch in the clock to one of these zones. You also set a switch to tell it to adjust for US Daylight Saving Time or not, depending on your area. If you can't describe your location using these two switches, the clock won't display the correct time. It's really just for US locations in those four time zones and US Daylight Saving Time rules. I recommend the clock if you are located within the area for which it's designed. I particularly like the silent (non-ticking) feature. That works perfectly, and it's the reason I picked this model instead of one of the others. If a clock's description doesn't specifically say that it operates silently, then it probably isn't silent. There's nothing wrong with ticking, it's entirely a user preference, but I wanted silent operation.

It’s so poorly made it would make a better frisbee than a wall clock
This clock is a complete piece of junk. I regret buying it. Setting the time is a nightmare. You use the buttons on the back, but the hands don’t stop when you release them—they just keep spinning past where you want. It’s almost impossible to set it correctly without getting frustrated. The “atomic” feature is a joke. It does not automatically set the time like it claims. Worse, it doesn’t even keep accurate time. After a few months, it’s already several minutes fast. This is a cheap, poorly designed product that clearly wasn’t tested before being sold. It looks okay, but it flat-out doesn’t work as advertised and ends up being a waste of money. Don’t waste yours.

Excellent wall clock
Awesome. Glows in dark and atomic feature keeps it accurate with no help from me

Sleek, Modern, and Easy to Read
This black wall clock is exactly what I was looking for. The simple, modern design goes perfectly with any décor and adds a nice clean look to the room. The numbers are large and easy to read, even from across the room, and the contrast of the black background with the white hands makes it very clear. It’s lightweight but sturdy, and mounting it was quick and easy. The clock runs silently—no annoying ticking—which is a huge plus for bedrooms or offices. I’ve had it running for weeks now, and it keeps perfect time without needing any adjustment. If you’re looking for a functional, stylish, and affordable wall clock, this one checks all the boxes. Great quality for the price!

Relogio muito bom e muito bonito. Tamanho perfeito.
