Great product!
I really really love this cup with the infuser and lid. I don't understand what other people's issues have been. Glass seems the perfectly acceptable amount of thickness. Right now I'm just using the cup and the lid portion to steep bags of tea. The insulated part does a great job but still lets you feel that it's warm. Being able to see the full color of the teeth is lovely. The cup has a little weight to it especially when full, but it is very safe to carry cup of hot water with the lid on from one area to another. I highly recommend it to those who are looking for non-toxic items to use for making tea. Beauty and practicality, a winning combo!

High Quality Toxin Free Borosilicate glass!
High quality Borosilicate glass which means lead free & toxin free trustable glass. I love these mugs, I have bought 2 of them now and they have not let me down. They are easy to clean & hold a lot of liquid. In my opinion it is a lot easier to make loose leaf tease with these glasses. Also an important note is that you can fit a ton of loose leaf tea in each glass if you so desire. For me that is a huge bonus because I like to use multiple kinds of loose leaf tea in each mug I make that are also highly potent for health benefits. The lids are fragile though so you do need to be careful when cleaning. Mine are perfectly in tact but I can see how easily they could probably break if your not careful Other than that, my experience with these mugs have been great!

Couldnโt be better!
I love this glass! I 10/10 am a tea snob, and I love everything about it from the color to the aroma to the taste. Iโm also a slow drinker. It can take me about two hours to finish an 8oz cup of tea. When I usually make tea, I warm my glass with boiling water before emptying it and steeping my tea. Even with the extra step, my tea was usually cold within the hour in my other glasses (and trust me, I have many different types). I didnโt take the extra step to test this glass. I poured my water directly in, and hereโs what happened: I steeped a white tea (so lower temperature than a green or black tea). Again, I drink tea super slow, and this glass maintained a solid temperate for almost two hours! For the first 30-45 minutes my tea remained piping hot. The next half hour was a still a good warm temperature. It was the last 30 minutes (so reaching the two hour mark) that the temperature dropped just below lukewarmโstill warm! But it was significantly cooler. The double walled insulation worked like a charm. In fact, it stayed super cool. I could barely feel any warmth coming through. The glass is light enough that holding it by the handle is comfortable, but the handle is also big enough to slide my hand through if I want to hold the mug itself. The glass is crystal clearโI can see my beautiful tea coloring with tea type! My absolute favorite part is the lid. I wish other brands would recognize the genius of having your lid did comfortably. No more rounded tea strainers that roll on the table, loose steepers that drip everywhere, or any other mess. The lid is the perfect size so the steeper doesnโt wobble or tilt in any way. Plus, it has a seamless seal to hold the steam and aroma in. In terms of cleaning, Iโve steeped every type and color of tea. Not one of them left stains. Itโs dishwasher safe (though I prefer to wash by hand), and the flavors/taste does not linger. I am able to brew a pu-erh tea in the morning, do a quick rinse, have green tea immediately after, do another quick rinse, switch to a tisane (usually hibiscus), one more rinse, and end my night with a white tea/chamomile blend. Trust me, my glass is NEVER empty, and none of the flavors carried over. I genuinely loved it so much that I bought a second one for my work desk. Definitely a must have!!

Not functional for hot tea
After 2 uses the infuser is already cracking. It appears the glass they used to make this tea cup is not tempered for heat. The hot water I used was from a Keurig machine and it cracked after 2 uses. Would not recommend this product for hot tea. It's pretty but not functional.

The perfect tea infuser doesn't exist, but this is close
Edit: There are a couple minor issues that I have with these infusers: 1. Condensation in the lid creates a water-tight seal, the single-walled lid cools quicker than the mug, combined this creates a siphon effect that lifts quite a bit of brew out of the infuser and into the lid after just a few minutes. I mitigate this by putting a toothpick between the lid and the infuser to break the seal. I would appreciate a modification to the lid design like ridges or fluting so I don't have to do that. 2. Much of the brewing goes on in the infuser itself, while the brew outside is rather dilute. With certain teas you can watch this happen. I would appreciate more slits in the infuser. Perhaps even some slits mid-way in the infuser sidewall since some finer teas settle at the bottom and block the slits. Original review: This is the best single-serving tea infuser mug on the market. It was awesome to finally taste notes I'd never experienced before on one of my favorite teas simply by switching to this brewer. - As a tea nerd, I want to visually see the tea and the brew. It's beautiful, why hide it? Borosilicate glass shows it off nicely. - I don't want the brewer to impart any flavor to the tea. Stainless steel gives teas a metallic taste because tannic acid reacts with the metal. I want to only taste the tea. Completely inert materials only, like borosilicate glass. - I want the brew temp to be as stable as possible to extract the compounds at my desired brew temp. As brew temps drop, the compounds extracted are reduced and you don't get a full extraction. So I want my brewer to be double walled. - Dishwasher safe. Nobody has time to hand wash stuff. Sure, it'll get tannin deposits after a few uses like any vessel. A glass-safe scouring pad will clean those right up if they bother you. - Sometimes you make that last steep and it's a little late. Waste not! Take out the infuser, but leave the lid on, and pop it in the fridge. The next day, take it straight from the fridge and put it in the microwave. Borosilicate rocks! - Fine filtration works excellently for coarse Taiwanese and Chinese whole leaf teas. It'd be a mess with fine teas like Japanese sencha or gyokuro. The filter slits are paper thin, literally. - Feels great in the hand with a flat top handle. - Looks great being all glass.

Great tea cup with cover perfect
Great tea cup but don't put it in the microwave bc it's double glassed so it doesn't work to heat up water.

Perfect personal cup to brew and drink tea
This cup is great for brewing and drinking tea leaves. The flat lid is very convenient for holding the glass filter, making it super easy to control how long the tea leaves brew in the water. Cup is comfortable to hold, with the double wall only warm to touch with hot liquid inside. Cup is microwavable, so reheating the liquid is easy. All glass construction, including the filter, is super easy to clean with a quick swivel of a soapy bottle brush. No tea residue buildup! The cup is a little small, but I consider it a feature that forces me to take a quick break from my computer often. The glass seems fragile, but I have been very careful and gentle when putting it down on hard table surfaces, so it has been holding up well so far. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.
