Read the instructions well.
I found it a little bit fiddly but got there in the end by watching a You tube video. Am very pleased with results and definitely stops the heat coming in.

It works
Works with hinge windows for vented air con units . Easy to install and comes with plenty of velcro tape to attach to your window. Cheaper and just as effective than the AC unit branded version.

The velcro has just melted off in the heat rendering it entirely useless.. and even worse, there were holes burned into the material from the sunlight! Lucky the house didn't burn down!! Avoid.

Fiddly to put up
It’s fiddly to put up and directions don’t tell you how to fit the corners, or how to deal with excess. I made it fit and it does the job well.

Het is van belang het kozijn goed schoon te maken en netjes af te meten, vervolgens goed aandrukken zodat het lijm goed hecht. Het heeft me een uurtje gekost maar hij zit perfect en laat niet los.

Facile da montare, grazie alla cerniera permette di aprire la finestra, elimina il rientro del calore emesso dal riscaldamento del tubo del condizionatore (dipende dalla lunghezza del tubo). Qualche grado in meno in questa estate rovente...

Fensterabdichtung
Ich habe die Abdichtung für unsere mobile Klimaanlage gekauft, die über einen Schlauch durch das Fenster betrieben wird. Da wir ein Flügelfenster haben, war es wichtig, eine passende Lösung zu finden – und das funktioniert hier wirklich gut. Die Abdichtung hält inzwischen schon seit über einem Jahr und bleibt bei uns sogar ganzjährig am Fenster. Man kann das Fenster weiterhin öffnen, was sehr praktisch ist. Wichtig ist nur, dass man das Fenster vorher gründlich reinigt, bevor man die Klebestreifen anbringt – dann hält alles zuverlässig. Mit etwas Geschick lässt sich die Abdichtung gut anbringen. Ich empfehle, das Fenster vorher genau auszumessen und die passende Größe zu bestellen. Der Schlauch passt problemlos durch die Öffnung, und insgesamt erfüllt das Produkt seinen Zweck sehr gut. Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall.
