Super quality Tovolo Large Stainless Mixing Bowl! Has enough weight to be stable, but not heavy for my arthritis hands. I'm replacing heavy glass bowl with this one. It took some time to find this size on Amazon: it's 9 3/4" in diameter and 7" deep perfect size and shape for whipping 11-12 egg whites adding sugar and folding in 7 egg yolks plus grounded walnuts for my 10" walnut cake. By the way. it is good with chocolate filling.

Having worked for years in a restaurant, I learned that it's worth buying quality kitchen supplies. They cost more up front, but they last literally a lifetime if treated properly. This bowl is heavy gauge and built to last. The depth-to-width ratio, relatively wide base, and straight sides in the upper half of the bowl are perfect for most home kitchen uses. The bowl nest perfectly with other Tovolo bowl sizes. We have a variety of Tovolo products in our kitchen. They're all well designed and last.

I could have more efficiently and just bought the set of these rather than buying individually. Started out wanting some popcorn bowls and was like wow these are great quality. Even with Goo Gone a sticker removal spray took some time to get them off.

This is a gift so I’m not using it but I like the size and quality of the product. My only down point is wishing it had come with a snap-on lid.

I read complaints regarding the stickers being difficult to remove, if not impossible. The stickers did not come off by pulling on them. I pulled them off to remove the top part of the sticker, so just the paper/glue part was left. I soaked that part with rubbing alcohol for about 4 minutes and was able to remove it all with a plastic scraper. It wasn't what I expected, but it was not a problem. So far, the bowl itself is exactly what I wanted!

Very good quality, I have been using it for the last 3 months and I am very happy with it.

Very heavy duty. Celebrated Thanksgiving on Sunday and I needed to make whipped cream for the pies. Stuck this bowl in the freezer and it retained the cold very well. The sides are tall enough that I do not end up with small flecks of heavy cream all over my backsplash and me. The real benefit was that my hand mixer was the perfect height so all I had to do was keep turning the bowl. I was glad that I didn’t get a bowl that had a silicone bottom. For my artisan bread, I turn the oven on a very low temp then turn it off before I put the dough in this bowl and cover. This bowl has now retired a bowl that was part of my Grandmother’s kitchen. I will be ordering the 7.5 qt bowl if it is ever in stock again.

Overall, the product met my expectation. It felt thick and is a deep bowl, had few minor (machine) scratches. I would give 5 stars if price is less than $22. (Walmart sells a set of Pyrex glass mixing bowls with lids for $25 - largest bowl is 5 quarts but is not as deep as this one. Costco's Kirkland set feel thicker and has silicon base, but the largest bowl is not as big as this one). This is used for washing vegetables and making whipped cream. Read reviews about how hard it was to get the stickers off. Just soak the stickers in warm water and scrub it off.

This is a well made and finished reasonably priced bowl that I find useful for mixing and proofing bread dough. I recommend it.
