Great speakers--STUPID seller!
Pioneer has ALWAYS been my favorite brand name and these speakers fit the factory holes in my dash just like I knew they would. They sound great as I expected. They could have came with a set of wires and covers like all the other Pioneer speakers I have bought in the past, but I was using them as factory replacements so I really didn't need them. I could've paid more and got them I guess, but I am very happy with the price I paid and the quality of these speakers. The only problem I have was the seller tried to charge me $29.95 shipping to my PO Box when they were listed as free shipping. Then he said it was free UPS shipping only, which was not clarified in the listing. Amazon has two address lines in your information place, so I listed my PO Box on "Address line one" and my street address on "Address line two". So from now on I guess I will change the "Name" line above them at the top from "James Fleshman" to "Take your Pick". Maybe that would help....but I doubt it!...Some people, well.....I'll just leave it at that for now.

these fit without any customization. sound is great!! could maybe handle more bass, but hey for direct fit, BETTER THAN OEM sound, these bad boys work GREAT!!! only thing with install, you either have to cut off old speaker wire terminals, and re splice in with the provided connectors and wires, or do the better PROFESSSIONAL INSTALL, and buy the plug and play type,(wire harness plugs into oem connector, and other end splice to speaker terminals) which can be found here on amazon, or on crutchfield.com seller was friendly, answered all questions i had. BEWARE, THERE ARE SELLERS ON HERE, THAT WILL MISLEAD YOU, MAKING YOU THINK YOUR GETTING A PAIR OF SPEAKERS.... WHEN YOU GET JUST ONE!!!

mounting
make sure you have mounting brackets. Drilling holes for screws is very hard.

Easy replacements for the OEM speakers.
Got these to replace the OEM speakers in Suburban. Speakers are almost exact match. OEM had a different way of mouting but not a major problem to work around with these speakers. As for size, they are exactly the same. No trouble putting them in and now I can listen to the radio again. Sound is far better than the original speakers to top it off.

Great Sounding OEM replacement speakers
Great fit for any GM Gbody (rwd Cutlass, Regal, MonteCarlo, GrandPrix and GM Ebody ( Eldorado, Riviera, Toronado) sound crisp and clear but distort with heavy bass at high volume. These would pair great with a small subwoofer in your vintage GM car.

As a pioneer it should sound better than other cheep quality speakers, sounds pretty much the same until I replaced them with other brand.
