These fit great on my 1979 CJ-5 w/ original bodywork. ZERO modifications required. My typical process for stuff like this is to loosely install all fasteners, then tighten. What I discovered on some flares was that the sequence was also important, as some flares assumed an unusual shape, prohibiting installation of the desired fastener, until a different one was installed. Once I figured that out, all went smoothly. These look great, replacing parts that had cracks, detracting from the vehicle appearance. These are recommended.

These fit on my '79 CJ5 perfectly. The old screws were rusted out, so it was good that these came with fresh new screws. I was able to remove the old ones and install these new ones in under 1 hour. Good fit, holes matched up pretty good. The material is pretty stiff so it can take a little flexing to get them into place, but once in, they are very sturdy and will last a long time. Time will tell how quickly they will fade in UV light, but for now so far so good.

Bought the kit for a '78 CJ-5. Replace the (very) old original flares that I installed on fiberglass tub and fenders years before. Fitment was very good. I had some issues with some mis aligned holes from previous install but was able to mark and re-drill and install without issue. Very good quality material and looks really sharp. I did not paint mine but it looks like it would accept paint well.

I own a cj 8 and had to do quite a bit of trimming to get the rear flares to fit close to stock ones But over all good quality

After some trimming and some heating with a heat gun these fit and look great on our Roxor

Fit perfect. Not sure of the prior brand, but mounting holes lined up perfectly. Well worth it.
