The manufacturer's video makes it look like it might be a little wobbly or flimsy, and I mostly expected I'd send it back. The opposite is true, and I could not be more satisfied. The design is excellent and uses very high quality parts and construction. Seems like it will last a long time, even without tender loving care. Installed simply and effortlessly in my Toyota, using the original seat bolt and a very small cylindrical thingy. Took about five minutes, including the time to track down my socket wrench. There are also three additional just-as-simple installation adapters that seem like they'd work with most any vehicle configuration imaginable. It's almost infinitely adjustable, so getting it optimally dialed in for my computer took a minute or two, but once you lock things in, they will not move. It swivels, tilts, rotates ad telescopes in multiple axes, so it can be fairly short or very tall. The computer sits very securely, but can slide out instantly, without loosening, unscrewing, or undoing anything. It also works with my iPad. If necessary, it can be completely removed quickly (flip one lever) and re-installed easily (same lever), and it folds down (somewhat) compactly. More expensive than several others, but I got a great deal on mine in a flash sale. I'd be just as pleased if I'd paid full price, based on the quality, simplicity, adjustability, and stability. Recommended.

I put this in my dodge promaster city work van, its fantastic! sturdy and solid. it does sway a little on bumps but I actually don't mind it. if it didn't absorb the bumps it would beat my laptop up, its great!!

Okay, fresh install..there's regrettably some play.. one of the bars isn't attached fully and moves a bit (working on that) and I can't seem to stop the laptop table from rotating..or at least tightening it up... But it works... Tried the supplied stabilizing rod...it...the area I'm using don't really for it :/

1st- it comes with only 2 mount brackets. You better hope it fits your vehicle. Neither did for me so I had to custom fab a bracket. Which is sad because I drive a Ford explorer, the most common squad vehicle 2nd- the product itself is loose. Plastic held together on metal with pins that dont fit. I spent all that time putting it together and fabbing a bracket, only for it to still jiggle around. 3rd-support bar is useless. It collapses, which is pointless when you are trying to support something. No clamp or anything to prevent it from collapsing. I wouldn't buy it until they tighten everything up. Considering the money it cost, I expected better

I was able to make my iPad fit in there so I can watch TV on it. It’s pretty versatile well built.

First time installing it took me a while. It is pretty sturdy however, during driving, the locks can become loose allowing the laptop to move.

Very easy to install. Easily move my computer out of the way for driving. Can be set up in so many convenient positions to make using a laptop a breeze. I run construction sites and work out of my truck for a month or so at the beginning of each project. It can easily be removed from the vehicle if need be.

A little wobbly but some quick and dirty pvc stiffness and I'm running up and down the pipeline with my computer held in place. It works.

Works well for what it is. Easy install on my ford f150. I use a MacBook Air so it is on the lighter side… I could see that there would be some sagging causing stress on the arms if you had a laptop on the heavier side. In the end there’s not many choice on Amazon so you got to keep that in mind.

Cheep flimsy crap. White metal or brital aluminum broke. I had to pretty much redesign it which I’m still working on. Even the design to hold the laptop is dimwitted. I did not address this or ask for a refund because I’m determined that I will get something set up using parts from this. It made for one long and expensive project.

I read the reviews and decided to take the chance. Bad move. The installation was pretty straightforward, although I fabricated my own mount to the passenger seat. Put it the first time and noticed it was not rigid enough to be sturdy even with the laptop off. I intended to brace it to the seat and console to stop the shaking. Put it in the second time and the cheap aluminum bracket snapped. No joy getting a replacement part or even to get some one to talk to me. Returned to amazon.
