Milani Amore Matte Metallic Lip Crème ~ My Soulmate 14

I was on the fence about this color because it looks super purple in the pictures but ya know what? I really dig it! It’s definitely darker than anything I normally wear, but when I put it on my husband said my lips looked luscious and ran in to put his face on my face for smooches. YES PLEASE! We’ve been together 12 years and he’s never even used the WORD luscious, let alone used it to describe my face pillows.😍 I’m pretty stoked if I do say so myself. The deets on this lippy. It’s kind of a deep purplish red on me, there is a lot in the tube, it glides on effortlessly, it’s not overly drying on my lips and it dries like paint but not in a bad way. I mean that it’s basically like shellacking your lips with color because this stuff does not come off. It’s not only smudge proof, it’s almost make out proof as well! I say almost because I did leave some faint smooch stains on my Mr.’s face, but out of all the lipsticks I’ve tried thus far, it’s the most smudge proof. Even compared to my Fenty mattes! I’m literally shocked. I also like that I didn’t have to use a lipliner. Omg it’s so easy to get a sharp lip outline with this! No blotting needed btw. The only annoying part about this lippy is that it’s stupid hard to remove. I mean I used jojoba, various toners, and straight up isopropyl alcohol but there was STILL a little hint of color on my lips. I actually had to have my husband reformulate the CBD toner we make so I could finally take this stuff off with one cotton pad instead of using 20 and scrubbing my lips until they are on fire and I look like someone punched me in the mouth. I didn’t take off a star though because, I mean, if I want a lipstick that doesn’t smudge, it stands to reason that it’s gonna be like removing old paint to get it off. Gotta take a little bad with the good ya know? I took a couple of pics close up and farther away so you can see what it looks like on a chocolate gal. I probably should have posted better ones but it was late, I was about to take off my makeup and tired as all get out so I figured as long as I at least attempted modesty by covering my décolletage, we’re good.🤷🏽‍♀️ It’s the lips that are important anyway!🤪 I know that lipstick can look different on different skin tones, so I always try to post a pic for other darker skinned women so ya can have an idea of what it looks like on darker skin..🤓 As always no filters or flash, just my big ole face on display with only my bathroom lights on.🥴 I love this lipstick and I bought it in 5 other colors, hopefully they will all work out for me!🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 ***UPDATE **** The other colors I bought are AWESOME! Especially Amore. I included 2 pics of that color because it’s glorious. It’s this brilliant , almost femme fatale comic book heroine red and I.am.LOVING.it. I feel like I should be fighting crime in a tricked out moserati or something! It’s more drying than the other lippies in this line, but it’s still pretty great. Also, if you are struggling between obsession and gorgeous, may I suggest you try obsession? They are both very similar colors on my African American skin but obsession has more firepower and is more highly pigmented. Gorgeous is like it’s shy 2nd cousin.

This is amazing!! I got the color wicked (matte black) and it’s just perfect. First of all, it smells SO good. Secondly, a big complaint I have with matte lipsticks is when they dry it feels like they tighten up my lips and completely dry them out. With this, it feels so light when it dries I almost forget it’s there and when I take it off at the end of the day, it doesn’t feel like all the moisture has been sucked out of my lips. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t feel like it moisturizes my lips, but it definitely doesn’t feel like it takes moisture away which is what I prefer. Also, it’s definitely a one coat lipstick so I know this tube will last me a LONG time because it’s incredibly opaque. I also got the shade desire which is like a deep red, I haven’t worn it yet but I’ve swatched it and the color is just as striking and opaque. This brand is a win for me!!! My new fave!!!

I love this Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme, espeically in Covet. I have been using this product for over a year since these lip creme have come out. This can last me the whole night out. What I do is I use a mac lipstick usually smoke purple, deep rooted, or ruby woo. After I apply one to two layers of mac lipstick.. I like to mix the Milani Matte Lip Creme in Covet. The combination with a mac lipstick will help it last all night. If I know I am about to eat a full meal I would put about 3 layers of the Milani Lip Creme. For example apply the mac lipstick, then put one layer of the milani lip creme, wait for it to dry and repeat it two more times. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT THIS IS MY DEFAULT LIP COLOR. I have this lip creme everywhere! One in my bag, work bag, wallet, and make up purse. I know this might be a little drying to some, but I personally do not care if its dying because I like the matte dry look and I am after how long this product can last on my lips. I have eaten full on meals and pasta and this lip stick does not budge. JUST REMEMBER LAYER THIS ON YOUR LIPS AND IT CAN LAST ALL NIGHT! The first picture was after a basketball game after eating and drinking all day. The second image of me smiling was at the end of the day after a full day of wine tasting. All you need to do it layer the lip creme.

I really like this Milani matte lip creme in red. It's a vibrant cherry red. It also dries and stays on for hours without smudging. The only downside is that it's so matte that it dries the lips. Although it looks great on its own, it also looks good with a little lip gloss on top which moistens the lips and puffs them up a bit, giving a more sultry look.

I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on this color and shine! Perfect color for all skin types. It’s light and doesn’t fade and isn’t sticky like some lipglosses. The matte finish is perfect.

Lovely! Its a dark velvety burgundy-red, which is the color I was hoping for! It goes on silky and the color sets quick, which I didn't realize that it was a matte lipgloss when I purchased it (even though its in the name). It didn't feel drying and its mostly transfer proof, so if you need to take it off you'll need some cleanser or oil (I used vitamin e) to take off completely. Its nice (and lucky) to actually get the color you expect with only an image for reference, such a bonus!

Item comes in original packaging, beautiful color that glides on easily. But for my lips which are dry, it’s not for me. It makes my lips even dryer. I ordered this item because of the beautiful color which I wanted to blend with other colors but the drying effect is not for me. This item will work wonderfully on someone with the perfect lips. I do recommend.

Positiv: Die Farbe ist schön: ein glänzendes metallic braun-rosé. Das war’s auch schon. Weniger positiv: dieser Liquid Lipstick ist nicht komplett kissproof. Er übersteht keine Mahlzeit unbeschadet. Nicht einmal die Aufnahme von Flüssigkeit mittels eines Glases (aka ein Glas Saft trinken) geht spurlos an ihm vorüber. Was bleibt ist ein trauriges Überbleibsel in Form eines unschönen Randes an den äußeren Lippenrändern. Das sieht dann eher ungepflegt aus. Ich habe nach dem Tragen auch sehr unangenehme Lippenreizungen, bis hin zu Pickelchen an den Lippenrändern festgestellt. KEINE Kaufempfehlung meinerseits!
