Puracy Organic Baby Lotion, Organic Eczema Moisturizer for Infants and Newborns, Natural Kids Body Lotion for Sensitive Skin, Gentle Calming Lavender & Grapefruit Essential Oils, 8 Ounce

I first purchased this lotion in December of 2014. It worked magic on my toddler daughter's scaly eczema skin, but at the time, this lotion had a different aroma that was off-putting to my husband and me. I wrote an Amazon review stating this and explaining that I would be a lifelong customer if not for the scent. I was then contacted by one of the founders of the company. (WHAT?!? This has never happened to me!) He was sincerely interested in my feedback and has since reformulated the scent of the Puracy lotion. He contacted me recently and asked if I could give them another chance to try the new fragrance. I was blown away. First, to have shown the interest in my suggestions, then to act on those suggestions, and finally to generously offer to ship me a bottle at no cost to me so that he could earn my business. And THEN he followed up with me! I thought that this level of service was non-existent. My hope has been renewed!Well, I am beyond pleased. The new scent is lavender and grapefruit, but I would say that the predominant smell is lavender. It's soft and lovely. This doesn't just have to be a baby lotion! I will use it for myself as well, as I have noticed a difference in the dryness of my own skin. And my children LOVE the smell.And yes, I fully expect to be a lifetime customer now. Fantastic company with a fantastic product. Hope they go far!

This lotion is nice and thick with a subtle scent, leaving my skin feeling super soft! First off- I’m a sucker for a neon and pastel color combo, so the giraffe on the label caught my attention. Secondly, I’m known for my intense lotion routine (10 pumps on wet skin straight out of the shower) and very soft skin. I decided to give this a try instead of my usual lotion to help give a little extra moisture to my skin as the weather gets colder out. I’m happy I did! It’s even gentle enough that my sensitive-skinned partner is using it on their face as moisturizer, with no breakouts or issues. Lastly, the scent is quite nice and quite subtle, which I really appreciate. It’s enough that I enjoy smelling it as I rub it in, but not smelling like it all day. Perfect! Bottom line, there’s no baby in the house but we’re both very pleased with this gorgeous, organic baby lotion! :)

The reason I bought this lotion was because my 18 month old daughter has been struggling with dry skin/rash on her back for a little over a week. None of the typical lotions I had bought at Walmart helped fix or alleviate the dry skin and rash. I had tried different types of aveeno lotion, Mustela, aquaphor etc.So I received this lotion yesterday and after giving my daughter a bath I applied it. It doesn’t smell like your typical baby lotion, just different. It’s not a bad scent by any means, just not what I expected. Definitely not overpowering though, but very subtle. Anyways, she went to bed and woke up this morning with the dry skin/rash almost completely gone. After just one application of the lotion. I’m truly amazed with how well this lotion worked for us. I wish I would’ve taken a before and an after picture to show you just how well it worked. I would 100% recommend this lotion to anyone who’s searching for new lotions. If your little one (or yourself) is struggling with dry and/or sensitive skin, definitely give this one a try. You will not regret it. The pump I received with the lotion also reaches all the way down to the bottom so I literally have zero complaints.

This lotion is really nice. It smells good and calming, goes on well without being greasy and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and soft. The trick is getting this stuff out of the bottle!! The pump didn’t work, so I tried to transfer it to a glass lotion bottle. Doesn’t sound difficult, but half an hour later, with lotion filled paper towels all over the bathroom, it was done. I lost the bottom portion of the bottle because I just couldn’t get it out. That’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It was just really too thick to work with, but now that I can get to it, I really like it.

I purchased this in July 2016 for my daughter who has eczema. I began using the lotion in mid August (and the body wash in early September). The lotion is not greasy at all! It glides on smoothly and the smell is natural. Nothing about the lotion is store equivalent because I do not have to use it as much as I use the lotions I find at the store. When I began using the lotion, I didn't have many expectations, but once my daughter started coming to me holding her arm out, I knew it was working to relieve her itchiness from her dry skin. While it did not completely suffice for her flare-ups, when added to her flare-up, over the counter, cream, it works wonders! For the daycare, I mix two parts Puracy Organic Baby Lotion with 1 part flare up night cream and it has been working wonders. Her skin is finally clearing up and I think this is the reason why. I will be purchasing this and the body wash again and again either she's grown and on her own or this product is no longer available.

We originally gave this product two stars as we were trying to find something natural to put on our baby's face because he has eczema that was flaring. This was just not doing the trick. We had to use Aquaphor to get it to go away.However, I began to use the product on my own face and I love it! I have normal to slightly dry skin and this leaves my face soft and glowing. I also use it on my baby's skin when he is not having an eczema flare and it works great. Moral of the story - great all around moisturizer for typical skin. We have been happy with the other Puracy products we use.Revised again...10/26/15Puracy reached out to me to try their new product that replaced the old lotion that did not work too well for us. They sent us a bottle for free! We love the new pump dispenser and scent. The texture is also slightly thinner making it easier to spread around. My husband even uses it on his face, too. The lotion smells wonderful and is absorbed really well after I leave it for 5 mins, the greasiness goes away and my hand feels smooth and soft. But when I tried to put the pump cap on (this is the reason I got this lotion! I needed a good lotion that I could just press down on), first of all the tip of the cap had broken off and it is sharp and dangerous to touch, second of all when I tried twisting it to pop the cap up so I could see if I could push down on it at least, the top would not come up, not matter how many times I twisted it in either direction. This product is broken and I hope it will be addressed by the seller.****UPDATE**** this review was responded to quickly and and I was sent another one, and that one was the wrong scent, so I was sent a third one and now I am happy :)

I was excited to try this lotion for my baby because of its natural ingredients and gentle formula. The texture is great—light, non-greasy, and absorbs well into the skin without leaving any residue. It also seems to moisturize effectively, keeping my baby’s skin soft.However, I did notice something unexpected with the scent. While it smells nice in the bottle, after rubbing it in, the fragrance changes slightly, turning into a musky scent. I suspect it’s the grapefruit interacting with the skin, causing a bit of a chemical reaction. It’s not unbearable, but it was noticeable.Overall, it’s a good lotion with clean ingredients, but if you’re sensitive to scent changes, it’s something to keep in mind!

Bought it with curiosity from it’s natural ingredient. It’s surprisingly kind of thick and concentrated, recommend parents apply on baby right after their bath with a little bit of wet on their skin. The smell is fantastic! Lavender helps on relax and sleeping quality! Love it!
