This is a great quality kickstand at a great price! This was easy to install and adjust the length to fit my Trek. Easily supports my bike and would highly recommend this Rockbros kickstand!

My girlfriend and I bought new bikes, and hers didn't come with a kickstand. I noticed in a photo of the bike she purchased that this kickstand had been installed by others. So, I ordered one for her as well. Super easy to install, and there are inserts included to help prevent any scratching or damage to a bike's finish. Feels sturdy once installed and the hardware is tightened. One word of advice: make sure to install the kickstand far back enough so it doesn't get clipped by the pedals. Looks good, even though her bike isn't black or gray, and it's perfectly stable when engaged. Being able to adjust the height is a nice feature. Overall, definitely recommend, particularly if you're just getting back into bikes and don't want to spend much money on parts and upgrades just yet.

I bought this in June. Earlier in June I had bought a BV brand kickstand for one of my bikes - for about $18 - which works fine. This stand was for the bike of a friend who hadn't ridden in years. It was only about $10 and had good reviews on RockBros, which beats the heck out of me. The frame member I put it on is round. See pics. The kickstand rolled sideways and the bike fell. I seriously tightened the socket head bolts (using a hex key) and it fell. I glued (E6000) some rubber on the frame under the kickstand and retried; it fell. Finally I added a homemade brace from the kickstand to the other frame member, as seen in the pics. I had to find, cut, and drill the steel. I had to buy longer bolts. The only relatively easy way I found to attach the brace to the frame was to wire it; tacky but it works, for now. I used some pieces of old inner tube to keep it from slipping and from chafing the metal. In the closeup pic I submitted I can see the gaps in the oval kick stand above and below the round frame member but I'm not sure the gaps will show in this review. I didn't charge her for the stand. Note: This stand, like my others, mounts near the rear wheel, which is what I always want so that I can turn the pedals while working on the bike.

I have a road bike that I ride and like most road bikes it did not have a kick stand so I had to rely upon walls, trees or post to lean my bike on. Then a friend that just completed a cross country bike trip said that the best thing he got for the trip was a kickstand. While others were lying their bikes down or leaning on trees he stopped where he was and used his kickstand. I bought this kickstand as I felt that it would meet my needs and it has certainly done so. It was very simple to install. Three screws are used to attach it to the bike and one screw to adjust. Probably took about 10 minutes to install. Works great and and no longer need to look for trees to hold bike up.

Sturdy product at good price

This is a fair quality bike kickstand. I am taking away two stars because despite tightening, the stand is not holding the frame very firmly. It has gotten little loose and I don't want to risk damaging the frame by tightening further.
