Good Bang for the Buck
I purchased these to cobble together some longer power cords for some of my powered monitors. The longer cords that I could buy were pretty pricey. Coupling these ends with some inexpensive extension cords proved to be quite a bit cheaper. Us broke musical types have to cut corners wherever we can! These are likely designed for the European market as they seem to be constructed for smaller guage wire than we typically use in the US. One would be hard pressed to use the screw connections with 16 AWG wire typically used in cords abound here. It was easy enough to solder the connections. I would strongly suggest that you do that as well! Time will tell if they hold up to the abuse that I'm sure they will be subjected to. I don't expect miracles, but it seems to be a reasonable solution to the problem at hand. I hope this helps someone out there!

can be challenging assembling
it works. i am using these to make 14 AWG and one foot long power connectors in a wire in a rack. it was a bit of a challenge terminating the connectors to the wire.

Decent quality
Did not use yet but inspection shows good quality plastic and hardware.

Decent but wont fit 16 awg cable
The pligs are decent quality overall, the issue is the method of connecting the wires to the terminals, these use a small screw that will not securely crush 16 awg copper wire, they can only safely take smaller guage. Ultimately i have to figure out a way to either solder or fit a crimp on to the terminals to make a secure connection.
