I like to spend time in the evening in my hot tub. I used to use my phone to listen to music as I didn't want to hear the annoying adds but one night I got tipsy and closed the cover with the phone on top and the rest is as they say in spanish - water under the bridge... so I have been using in the last 10y these type of radios. this one is the best one so far, why? 1. the sound quality is fantastic - clear and loud 2. hi quality radio with a sensitive tune and volume buttons 3. super light as it uses a rechargeable bat so i don't need to replace bats. 4. I like to old school design and it has a nice background light 5. comes with a flashlight 6. i plug a usb drive with my own playlist and it works great 7. very affoarable.

great sound, fun to see kids try to find a song with a dial. Love the solar battery. easy to link to a phone as well.

Cool retro look, great modern sound. I have to admit, I bought this radio strictly based on my enjoyment of the visuals and music of the Amazon Prime “Fallout” series, and I couldn’t be happier. I have several oldies playlists on my Spotify account that I listen to through the Bluetooth feature of this radio, and it just makes them all that much more enjoyable. Because of its am/fm features, solar charging capabilities, and super bright led flashlight function this radio is also great for emergencies. It feels well made, no rattling of loose parts, and its price is incredibly reasonable, especially in comparison to comparable radios presently on the market. It’s a little small when compared to actual mid century radios, but then again most of those 1950s vintage am/fm radios were the size of a toaster oven. I highly recommend if you like a vintage esthetic with modern functions.

I bought this radio for my dad for Christmas and he loved it! He said it's similar to the radios when he was a little boy. Everything worked so far haven't tested the solar part or the bluetooth but my dad is old fashion he doesn't use bluetooth that's why he wanted a simple radio, but flashlight is very bright and it's loud enough. It's small but cute.

Good Sound

I guess it is a matter of what you need in a radio like this rather than whether this one is "any good." The flashlight function is nice and may be useful if you find yourself in the dark, maybe your lights went out or you are lost somewhere while in your car or in the woods etc. The light is very strong. Good enough for a bike light. But I don't perceive I would really need it. The rest of the radio has an attractive "older style' look to it. It is really great that it is re-chargeable and that it is rechargeable with sunlight. This really makes it useable for outdoor use such as camping even though I would then wonder if the radio signals out in the wild or in more isolated areas would be good enough for the radio to work. It has an SD slot which I am not too sure about as to how it is to be used ; but I imagine just like you would insert an SD card in a computer or cell phone, you can listen to certain audio such as music, or maybe language lessons etc. However if so, I don't think I have use for that feature since I have tablet computers and cell phones for that. I guess the micro USB port and the regular (large) USB port means that the radio can be charged using either of those receptacles. Also MAYBE you can put a flash drive that has music or language lessons or other audio on it into the large USB receptacle and listen to the audio on the flash drive. I GUESS. I do not intend to use these mentioned features, the SD slot, and the large USB slot for those purposes. When I bought this item, I just intended to use it just for the AM and FM radio.. It seems that the radio does last for several hours with one charge. I think at least 6 hours but I think I used the radio for an entire day before it just stopped working and I had to charge it again. And one very nice plus, is that if you plug in the micro USB charger into the radio to charge it, the radio will work while it is being charged. That has been my experience with it. Also it is good that the radio has a strong movable handle but the radio is still a bit heavy in its own way even though it is understandable because it has a re-chargeable battery inside. That being said, I think that the volume control has very tentative settings. It goes a few volumes too loud by twisting it only slightly rather than giving you a wider range of incremental loudness or softness by turning the knob. I never need to have the radio on extremely loud, that makes the sound annoying on any radio, and anyway if you set this radio too loud, the sound becomes a bit too much like that of a small transistor radio that has been set too loud. It has a higher pitched "squeaky" "static-y" "unequal" sound. This is an analogy to give an example. The sound quality of this radio is actually good for what it is, but setting the volume too high does not work for good sound. I think I will return this item eventually. I still would recommend it for others if they need the features it has, and if they do not mind the minor issue with the volume control or the weight of item. Basically this nice little radio is not exactly what I need at this time.

This radio/bluetooth speaker came just in time for a severe tornado warning in my area. It picks up FM signals perfectly, although falters signal-wise when I am in part the top part of my home (due to cement in the build, which I anticipated.) I love love love the way this radio looks, and as an added bonus - it didn't break when I tripped and slammed it into the floor. Overall, pretty happy with the value for money. The only critique I think I would have is the slightly tinny-sounding speakers, but I can easily overlook that as I am so satisfied overall.

Great little radio for out here in the boonies. Sound is great. Reception great. Just set it up with batteries and will experiment with the solar later. Working rear so far. Love it!

Fue un regalo y a todos les encantó. Tiene muy bien sonido y también su recepción de radio es buena. La luz es bastante potente, más de lo que imaginábamos. Recomendable.
