This works well as a regular shampoo - it made my hair squeaky clean & it also has a pleasant light fragrance - but I got it for its hair strengthening & hair growth promoting ingredients. There is some good research behind Baicapil that supports its use for reducing hair loss & stimulating hair growth, and the other botanical ingredients are helpful for treating damaged hair as well. I just started using this so I don't know yet how effective it is but it is worth a try. It has no toxic effects on pets that I am aware of, unlike minoxidil, so I feel safer using it, and the ingredients did not irritate my skin.

This Apis Natural Cosmetics Shampoo lathers a bit and cleans well. There is a refreshing light scent. Looking forward to reaping the advertised benefits. It is made in Poland and has a best before date of "051126".
