AlbaChem Heat Transfer Vinyl Letter Remover - No. 1020

This is an excellent product, works great to remove name set for soccer Jerseys.

Does exactly what it says it does. It's great at removing wrong letters, stray bits of vinyl that were on the shirt, etc when they're fresh. Using this stuff on 10 minute old vinyl makes it like it never happened. Removing vinyl that was pressed three years ago gets iffy and unpredictable. About 2/3 of the shirts I needed to remove lettering from came off well, but the remaining third ended up with readable ghosts of the letters. It's also a possibility that this product isn't as good at removing Cricut vinyl as it is with Siser. I'll let someone else try to test that. And as others have mentioned, this solvent smells like cancer and brain damage. If at all possible, use it outside in a light breeze or in front of a window with a fan blowing to the outside.

This stuff worked amazing. I applied it to the front of the vinyl and within maybe 30 seconds you could see the vinyl crinkling and starting to loosen. I then scratched it off with my fingernail with no issues. Everything came off the white onesie (I had black and light blue on it). There is white residue left on the black however (this was a black canvas bag and the same thing happened on a 60poly/40cotton black tshirt). Please ignore the dog hair...it happens! It was a little bit more difficult to scrape off a 10" round full design but with time and scratching it all finally came off.

Had great success removing a DTF print. Only negative is some of the color from the DTF transferred to the shirt and one section left residue. It was a large image and maybe I should have worked in smaller sections. The product arrived dented and the nozzle was broken so application was messy and now I have no way to close the bottle.

This product worked excellent loved it. Followed the directions by squirting on the material. Let it sit for a few minutes. Gave my material a little tug in every direction and it came off without a hitch. I did not have to scrape or peel. It just fell off. Make sure you wash your material after you’re done it smells.

Saved my project. Worked well to remove some wash off water soluble stabilizer, that had not dissolved well from some microfiber fabric. It appeared to be cleaned after washing but drying set the adhesive a bit. So glad this product exsist and could help. It has fixed a HTV blunder as well. Happy to have this in my shop for future use

I had already gotten the htv off but it left a residue so I got the VLR to get the residue off. Can came dented, but didn’t really affect anything. With some scrubbing, it did mostly remove the adhesive residue, but it also took off some of the fabric color. I guess it’s better than the residue, but still not perfect.

It did exactly what I needed it to do and after washing left no residue.

Powerful and does the job perfectly.
