This set is perfect for anyone wanting to start carving wood. Tools are just the right size and work well for carving different ways. Tools are sharp and built strong and durable. There were no instructions so it was a learn as you go process for me but not that difficult to figure out. This is the first carving set I've purchased and am totally satisfied with this product.

As an intermediate woodcarver, this set really checks all the boxes for me. The tools are very sharp right out of the box and hold their edge well. They feel solid and durable definitely built to last through regular use. The handles fit comfortably in the hand, which makes long carving sessions much easier. They function exactly as expected, with clean, precise cuts and no fuss. Whether you’re refining your skills or just want a dependable set, this one delivers. Great value and performance overall.

Wanted to get into wood, carving again, but didn’t wanna break the bank on a good high-quality set, so this was a good median starting point to get myself back into the craft of wood carving, as it’s a little better quality than a beginner set but not quite High-quality enough for an expert, so I would highly recommend it if you already have the skills and want a good set to get back into it.

These are a great kit even for the starting whittler. The blades are sturdy and sharp, so we haven’t had any skipping or jumping when trying to make cuts even my 15-year-old son has enjoyed using these.

Was a gift for my father. He loves them. Makes a great gift for your wood obsessed loved ones.

This set is pretty good for beginners. I would consider purchasing this AND something of similar quality to a flexcut. The blades are difficult to sharpen for a beginner and were not sharp out of the packaging. The safety equipment is a great addition, though. Altogether, not bad considering the price, but the knives are not something I pull to use often.

The knifes are sharp and thick metal with zero "give". The safety gloves can't be cut even with my good knives. The wood blocks are soft and crack/blemish free. Only negative item was the strop, not a real leather but after applying some compound (what comes with the kit - green color) it did the job good. This should be your 1st carving "kit" for sure ! Little recommendation : sand the knife handles and remove the coating , it will feel alot better after longer use. Or make new handles, after all you have the tools now to do it with 😉.

It is good tool to start wood carving. I carved spoon as a first try, worked really well. But tool is on bit on expensive side.

Nice and sharp, would recommend buing professional gloves separately though. Otherwise fantastic product 👌
