I liked this minnow trap very much it worked as it was supposed to. I had put in a farm pond last yead and populated it with snails frogs minnows blue gill and some vegetation to get the pond goinr so I could add small mouth bass to it this year. I bought the trap to make sure that The minnows and blue gill lived and were reproducing. I unfortunately left the trap unattended for a day and a half due to medical issues and was shocked and very upset with myself when I retrieved the trap to find two 3 to 4 inch turtles inside along with minnows and blue gills the turtles had drowned I was beside myself I was now a turtle murderer unintentionally but still. I had a very hard time trying to remove the turtles from the trap so could not understand how they managed to get in. The trap was very easy to use and a good size but do not leave unattended as I did or you too could become a TURTLE MURDER

I have been putting bait in the trap and I can see small fish 2 to 4 inches in length around the outside of the trap however just a few hours later, the bait is gone and there are 0 fish in the trap.......

Threw a hotdog in this threw it out two hours later I had two small catfish in the net so I put some more hotdog in relocated. It came back. There were three bluegill in it. This thing is a fish catching machine.

Needs a door or hatch to retrieve what you don't want in it. As well as something to hold the bait in the middle.

Perfect trap for small bait fish and minnows. Has about 20ft of small rope.

Not for minnows opening are too big. That is my fault because it’s a crab trap. Other than that it’s built solid.
