Will these work on & be strong enough for 4-5 oz leather? I make leather purses & I'm trying to find cheaper alternatives.

I use these on bags and purses I make of canvas and duck.

Would these work well for a paladin Voltron armor cosplay?

I would surmise that a heavy suit would require sturdier methods of closure than a magnetic snap.

What is the magnetic strength of these snaps? For example, magnetic snaps normally have 7-, 9-, 11-pound strengths.

I do not know the strength# but it does take some effort to pull them apart.
