Beautiful results and easy to use
I’m honestly so impressed with this satin heatless rod set! I put it in overnight and secured it with a duckbill clip, and it stayed perfectly in place the entire time. I’m also a side sleeper, and it was still incredibly comfortable. I barely noticed I was wearing it. I have naturally curly, frizzy hair that’s fairly long (down to my bra strap), and I simply brushed and detangled it before putting the original size rod in. I’m pretty lazy and not very skilled when it comes to doing my hair, but I watched a few how-to videos and couldn’t believe how simple it was to execute. The results were amazing. My hair came out soft, smooth, and beautifully styled, with the frizz noticeably tamed. It also helps extend my hair wash days. My hair stays less greasy and much more manageable. The next morning, I took it out and my hair looked incredible and voluminous. Perfectly formed curls on the very first try. No learning curve at all. It gave me that effortless, polished look without any heat damage. If you’re looking for an easy, comfortable way to get beautiful, smooth curls, I highly recommend this. It exceeded my expectations!

Worth it
I honestly was a bit skeptical of how well this would work for me, but I was pleasantly surprised! This set is so cute. My hair is on the longer side, about mid back. I used it on damp hair. It was difficult to wrap my hair tightly around the headband/wand, but I only spent about 10 minutes trying. My hair ended up being wrapped somewhat loosely. I was sure it would come undone during the night, but it stayed secure! When I took it out in the morning, I loved the outcome! It worked so well even though my hair wasn’t secured super tight, and that was just my first time, so I’m sure I’ll get better at it. My hair was pretty curly at first and I still had left over waves two days later! The set was a bit uncomfortable to sleep in, as I couldn’t turn my head to either side very far, and I felt like I had to stay on my back. However, there’s a couple ways you can use it and I hope to find what works for me and make it more comfortable in the future. Overall, a great product and I’m so glad I bought it!

Takes practice but ultimately great
I would give this product 4.5 stars if I could. I’m really glad that I bought the velvet rod because it holds my fine, thin, breakable blonde hair much easier than the satin one. It’s easy to use, but it takes practice to wrap it smoothly. I’ve tried it three times now, and I got better with each practice. Here’s my take away…if you get it on their perfectly smooth, and if you don’t move around a lot, then you may end up with the perfect result. More likely than not, you’ll get an awesome base of curls, and you’ll spend 5 minutes with some smoothing Moroccan oil, and you’ll touch up a few curls with your curling iron. For me, it saved me 30 minutes of curling my entire head with an iron. I’ll take the need for a quick touch up with an iron over the lengthy and hair damaging curling that I used to do. This product is mostly awesome.

Pretty, easy, effective
I had a hard time deciding what color to get, but it's really prettier than the pictures, so you probably can't go wrong. I've done overnight/no-heat curling before, and it was either time-consuming, uncomfortable, or came out so-so, so I was skeptical. However, after months of testing, I've found it's my go-to no-heat styling option. PROS - It's easy. It's so simple and fast to put in...just like doing a front French braid, but way easier. - It lasts. Stays put during the day and when sleeping, and it's comfortable—doesn't pull my hair and hardly noticeable when you're lying down. - Doesn't look terrible in. I've even gone to the grocery store on a busy day wearing it (like a fancy headband lol). - It works. End result is amazing: nice body and smooth waves/curls (if you start when almost dry and leave in until fully dry) that last for days. - Just right waves/curls. Not too curly, either, which you can end up with with individual padded rollers (which take much longer to put in if you have thick hair like I do). - Take it with you. Sooooo easy for travel, and takes up almost no space: I've had no problems leaving my diffuser and curling iron at home. In some ways, it's even better than my best crunch and slow air-dry days, because my hair comes out very smooth and stays that way for days. Things to note: my hair is naturally wavy, so it curls pretty easily, but I think it should still work for straight hair. Only one CON: Doesn't come with a hair clip. TIP: I use my own xlarge claw clip to hold it in place at the top (which really helps) while I do one side, then take it out before I do the second side. I bought it in a bundle (https://amzn.to/4hYmSeC) with the misting spray bottle (sooo good too to refresh on the 2nd/3rd day: https://amzn.to/4hBVfbw). Highly, highly recommend!! Don't hesitate—wish I'd found this years ago.

Works but not super well
This works well most of them time. I have very long hair and this mostly works but doesn’t stay well . My hair curls well with a curing iron but I have to use a lot of product like hairsprays and creams with this heatless curl rod for the curl to hold. It’s also not very comfortable while sleeping , personally I need an additional clip to hold it in place.

Great Product! Fun & Easy to Use!
Love that this product provides great curls without the use of heat! Researched various heatless curlers before choosing this Kitsch Heatless Curler. One of the main selling points was the sustainability feature of being made with chemicals safer for human health and is certified by OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. I wanted to make sure I started out with a clean product as I would be wrapping my damp hair around this device. I placed the heatless curler and two scrunchies in a mesh garment laundry bag and washed these items using a bit of mild shampoo and cold water on the handwashing cycle of my washing machine. I hung the mesh bag containing the items on a hanger to dry overnight before using. The heatless curler contains a flexible coated wire surrounded by soft material and coated with a satin type fabric. I started the curling process by brushing my hair and spritzing it with water to dampen hair. I utilized a velcro roller on my bangs and ran the heatless curler through the velcro roller - see photo. I found wrapping my hair around the roller to be very easy and took about 5 minutes total. I parted my hair in the back. Then started wrapping the hair near my temple and grabbing a section of hair each time I wrapped. I also lightly spritzed some hair sections with additional water as I went along. The wrapping and grabbing additional sections of hair was similar to the French hair braiding process. I found that wrapping the hair sections close to each other and with a moderate tension worked well. At the end of each side I utilized a scrunchie to secure the end of the hair to the curler. When finished, I found that I could wrap the two ends of the heartless curler around each other at the lower back of my head, but wasn't certain if this would be comfortable to sleep on; I used a hair tie to secure the two ends of the heatless curler together at the back of my head instead. I have the Kitsch satin scarf, but didn't think to wrap my hair with it. Squeezing the heatless curler, I thought it felt very soft. I wore the curler to bed and laying on the curler took me about 20 mins to get use to. I was able to move the curler off my ear when sleeping on my side and found this was a comfortable position. I was also able to comfortably sleep on my back. Again, it was just a matter of taking about 20 minutes to get use to. I kept the curler in for approximately 8 hours. Removing the curler was very easy, the hair slipped away easily and didn't tangle at all. I like a bit tighter curl, so I used my fingers to separate the curls just a bit. If I would have ran my fingers through the curls, I think I could have created a looser curl or wave. I did not use a styling product in my hair and the curl has lasted throughout the day - I have fine hair that takes to curling easily. When I was finished utilizing the heatless curler, I placed the curler and scrunchies in the mesh laundry bag I had washed it in (not included) and put it on a hanger to completely dry; I wanted to make sure it was completely dry before storing it away. I feel this is a great product, that is reasonably priced, made of quality materials, well constructed, and was fun and easy to use!

Perfect for soft, loose waves without heat
I have thick, layered hair and mainly wanted loose waves, not tight curls. I wore this overnight and was honestly really happy with how it turned out. In the morning, my hair had soft, natural-looking waves that didn’t look overdone. It gave that effortless look I was going for. I used it on slightly damp hair before bed. It took me a few minutes to figure out the best way to wrap my layers, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty simple. It stayed in place overnight and was more comfortable than I expected. The satin feels smooth and didn’t leave my hair frizzy in the morning. I like that I can get styled waves without using heat, especially since I’m trying to cut back on damage. For thick hair, it works really well and gives more of a soft wave than a tight curl, which I prefer. I’m glad I tried it and will keep using it.

Affordable and less damaging to your hair
The Kitsch Satin Heatless Curling Set is designed for those seeking a heat-free method to achieve curls overnight. Here’s an overview of its features, benefits, and potential drawbacks based on user feedback: Features: • Heatless Curling: The primary benefit is its ability to curl your hair without damaging it with heat tools. It is made to be used while you sleep, saving time and minimizing heat exposure. • Satin Material: The satin fabric is gentle on the hair, reducing friction and frizz, which is especially useful for preventing breakage and maintaining smooth curls. • Includes Curling Rod & Scrunchies: The set typically comes with a long satin rod and matching satin scrunchies to secure the ends of your hair after wrapping them around the rod. • Comfort: Designed to be worn overnight, the satin material is soft against the scalp and comfortable while sleeping. Benefits: • Prevents Heat Damage: Since it is heatless, it protects hair from the typical damage caused by heated styling tools like curling irons or straighteners. • Convenient: You can achieve curls overnight with minimal effort, making it ideal for busy mornings. • Frizz Control: The satin helps reduce frizz, leading to smoother, shinier curls. • Reusable: Eco-friendly since it’s a one-time purchase you can reuse as often as needed. Drawbacks: • Results May Vary: Different hair textures and lengths may see varied results. Those with thicker hair may need more product or practice to get consistent curls. • Learning Curve: Some users report that it takes time to master the technique to ensure even curls without tangling or awkward positioning. • Sleeping Comfort: While soft, it may still take getting used to sleeping with the rod in place, and some users may find it slightly uncomfortable. Overall Verdict: The Kitsch Satin Heatless Curling Set is an affordable, gentle way to achieve curls without heat damage. It works particularly well for those with fine to medium hair, though it may require some trial and error to perfect the technique. It’s a solid option if you’re looking to maintain hair health while styling overnight.

Me facilita mi rutina y cuida mi cabello.

WAY too overpriced
The package came with the satin curling ribbon and two scrunchies for a total of SGD$42. Material was soft but not of particularly good quality and made in China. It does not come with the clip to secure the curling ribbon at the top of your head. I initially bought this one because I thought it would be quality goods, but I was wrong. Delivery was fast though. Box came slightly torn and squashed.
