This is an excellent quality item and so useful. The strainer part is as fine as any strainer you can find and i think even better than using cheesecloth due to it being so easily used and cleaned and immediately reused. This is the best sized funnel I have ever come across and will hold a large amount of liquid and has a small enough hole in the funnel to fit very small openings. This will be great for not only canning but for filling small necked bottles for homemade liquors and vanillas and vinegar, etc..... Now i can throw out all of the other useless flimsy plastic ones and have just this one to replace many others. I should have found this years and years ago. I was also amazed at the customer service and the speed of shipping. They said it was on the way and the doorbell rang!!!! This is definitely a go to company for me. Thank you ever so much. I have been bragging to everyone i know and i hope it helps this company grow. We need more internet companies like this that care about their customers first and foremost. Again...THANK YOU!

Bought this to go with the iSi gourmet to make infusions. Dishwasher cleanup. Nice quality product.

I have two of these combos now. On the plus side, the sieve is fine, very sturdy and exceedingly well constructed. The combination works well and is not tippy in an ISI flask or canning jar. The size, in use, is very good. On the down side, I have paid dearly for the convenience as I already had good sieves and funnels - just not as tidily compatible, and they are bulky to store. Overall, I am pleased with my purchases as I love good tools and there is peace of mind to knowing I am set for the rest of my life, at least in regards to this particular type of equipment.

Extremely well made, balanced sieve and funnel. Most kitchen items aren't made this well. Sits inside iSi cannister perfectly, as well as most other kitchenware. Solid weight prevents slippage, seals are tight, expext no corrosion. If you have the extra few bucks, splurge on it, you won't be disappointed. I used mine for almost exlusively now for straining sauces, stocks, rice, pasta, etc...

Really like this a lot but I knew the funnel size, when purchasing but realized it would be nice to have a smaller size for adding liquids to bottles. So used it about 2 or 3 times, then realized I couldn't use it for smaller bottle items. Great product, however.

Perfect sieve and funnel pair. There is a huge surface area to quickly sieve volumes of whatever liquidy concoctions your whipping up. I have only had it a short while, but I use it daily. iSi Sieve & Funnel Dimensions: Sieve Total Diameter - Just Under 7 Inches Sieve Working Diameter - 5 and 3/4 of-an-inch Funnel Outlet Diameter - 1 and 3/8 of-an-inch The sieve locks into the funnel if you place the sieve handle's loop on top of the funnel's handle. In this position it is locked in place and will not rotate. Incredibly handy. Very efficient; with the funnel, much more sieved material gets collected. It is pricey. I looked at it for quite a while before finally purchasing. But, surprisingly Amazon had the best pricing on it.

This is the superfine strainer to beat all others! And funnel to boot. However, I did have occasion to use the funnel very soon after the pkg rrived, al that was a happy surprise. I bought this combo mainly bc I wanted to up my experimenting w the ISI siphon. Then when it arrived, I realized how much I could use it in other scenarios, for example, rinsing rice or straining a custard or sauce. This would be a terrific gift for a friend, with or without the siphon and new v. of the charging cartridges. (Regarding the siphons, I’ve found that dinner guests just love to adorn their own desserts, so unless it’s something like a plate size meringue I want to assemble myself, I just let em go at it.

Ewig gesucht und (nur) diesen gefunden: der einzige Trichter, mit dem man Flüssigkeiten in Milchflaschen füllen kann. Warum? Alle anderen Trichter sind entweder am unteren Auslaß zu weit ("Marmeladentrichter") oder zu schmal (Flüssigkeitstrichter) Wozu brauche ich das? Ich trinke gern Green Smoothie. Keine Ahnung, wie andere Leute das machen, aber bei mir kommen immer mindestens 2 Liter zusammen (Vitamix 750 Pro). Das geschied, weil ich einfach viele Zutaten verwende und auch etwas auf Vorrat produziere, damit ich nicht jeden Tag die Sa.erei habe (wer frischen Kurkuma in seinem Smoothie verwendet und - wie ich - eine helle Küchenarbeitsplatte hat, weißm wovon ich rede. Zurück zum Trichter: ich fülle den Vorrat in sauber gespühlte und desinfizierte (für 10 Min in den Backofen bei 200 Grad) Milchflaschen, schraube diese mit BlueSeal-Deckeln zu und ab in den Kühlschrank. Bitte keine Kommentare, daß dann am nächsten Tag nur noch die Hälfte der Vitamine da sind. Falls das so ist, kann ich es nicht ändern. Dafür trinke ich fast jeden Tag meinen Smooth. Also der Trichter ist der einzige, der das Einfüllen ermöglicht. Falls jemand einen anderen kennt, der ebenso geeignet und günstiger ist, bitte melden, DANKE!
