I was expecting a fabric dash cover. These covers are a good thing but the sun tends to bleach them out over a short period of time. This is truly a perfect fit overlay. It does not change the look of the car from the outside. In Colorado due to our altitude the UV damage to vehicles can be detrimental to the value of a car like this. I think this will be a great investment to maintaining the car.

Although they held the cover in place initially, I noticed some areas where it didn't adhere as securely as I would have liked. We bought this for our 99 Firebird Convertible because our dashboard was cracked due to heat and age. We were unsure that it would work, there are no instructions. BUT we watched a few videos from other places and used the glue that came with the cover. We did NOT remove the existing cover, we went right over it. The existing one was missing pieces and was a broken mess. The new cover at first didn't stick in place so we did use some RTV to secure it. We left it weighted for a week or so afterwards and it is holding, it looks great and for the money well worth it.

This fits perfect in a 2000 Trans am. No modification or anything. Looks 100% factory. Very impressed. Wasn’t expecting it to be perfect. If your on the fence about purchasing it just do it. You won’t regret it.

You can see in the first and third picture how it fits Perfect! The second picture is how it looked Before, the Last picture shows a much cheaper one, but if you notice, it has a domed edge to the right side where the original is a straight edge. If you need one, Get This to be Happy! :-D

The color match is excellent and it instantly looks better than my old, busted dash pad.That said, it isn't a perfect drop-in fit out of the box. The cover ran slightly too big on my '98 Trans Am, so it took a little bit of careful trimming around the edges and vents to get it sitting flush.Installation Tips:Do a thorough dry fit before applying any adhesive. As noted on Facebook, this is a very tight piece to maneuver into place, so you need to know exactly how it drops before committing.Skip the supplied glue: I highly recommend using black RTV silicone instead of the small tube provided in the kit. It holds much better and blends in cleanly.It requires a little patience and elbow grease to trim and seat, but the end result is absolutely worth the effort.
