Dominion: The Nature of Diabolic Warfare

Excellent book about diatonic warfare. Well written and full of information to keep us safe. Fr Rippinger has been an exorcist for a long time, so he has a wealth of knowledge to share. A great addition to my Catholic library.

This is an amazing body of knowledge, and I would even suggest that it is life changing. This book reminds me of a university senior level textbook. Perhaps even post grad. Do not purchase this book if you are simply curious. This book assumes that the reader is at an advanced level of Christian knowledge or even some study of psychology. I would recommend that if you accept the challenge of studying this book; that you get a spiral wound notebook for your notes. Lots of notes. This book is a religious journey, if you are ready; you will not regret the trip.

Very useful reference book for those interested in angelology and demonology. Even if it is written from the Catholic point of view, it can be read by anybody who wants information on the subject. It's easy to read and understand. I find it helpful for my spiritual quest, especially in our times.

I'm from the Philippines and recently bought this book (April 2026). I really like the content of it. I covered the book with plastic to make it last longer. This book is packed with knowledge about the nature of Angels and Demons and how they interact with us. This is a great book for the layman. I just wish that the publisher would produce a kindle version so that I could read it better, digitally mark my highlights and bookmark it. I'm on my reading glasses and still the fonts of the book are quite small for me and right now I'm taking photos of the entire book and reading it in that manner which is unpleasant for me. Hoping this review would reach the publisher and make a kindle version of this book. I will surely buy it again. Thank you Fr. Chad Ripperger.

I agree with the high praise expressed in other reviews. The book deserves a 5-star rating because Dominion certainly fulfills its purpose to the highest degree. The depth of Father Ripperger's knowledge, expertise, and scholarship comes through and is impressive. He consolidates information from a vast number of sources to support every assertion, which is a great help to a non-expert like myself. The section on authority structures is especially valuable to those of us lay people who want to understand "the rules of the game" related to the spiritual battle in which we are engaged. I have been listening to Youtube recordings of Father Ripperger's conferences for a long time and in reading the book, I could almost hear his voice. What a blessing to have the benefit of his studies and experience in one book. I do have to disagree with those who say it is an easy read, however. With all due respect to Father, I found the syntax occasionally to be awkward and difficult to follow and many of the passages have grammatical errors. This shouldn't dissuade anyone from reading the book, just be aware that it will take time and effort and you may need to re-read several passages and overlook confusing phraseologies to get the intended meaning. (I wondered several times whether or not the book had had an editor). That said, Dominion is a treasury of information that you won't find elsewhere in one volume. It is well worth the effort!

Fr chad is a freaking genius great read

Illuminating; don't give up after the first chapter, which is the most complex to read! Respect for Fr. Ripperger for having the intellectual ability and education for such a highly educational read. Also, his translations from St. Thomas are his own. People, he's someone who not only understand Latin, but understands it well enough to translate the Summa. Compared to the books of Fr. Amorth, this one has way more detailed and it's THE manual for understanding this part of our doctrine. God bless him for this book and his works.

Great book I suggest everyone pick one up for one serious read

An author worthy to be highly respected in this field as Father Chad is a practising exorcist with a thick books worth of wisdom, knowledge and understanding on this vitally important and intriguing topic. This reference book will be the treasure of your library for generations and help you be battle ready and sharpen your spiritual interest in protecting your soul from demons. This book come highly recommended.

El mejor libro en el tema

This book is not a book and not for the faint hearted. This is a serious life changing book written by a person committed to serving the highest good. He writes from the heart and soul regardless of your own spiritual beliefs. It may challenge to to the core about your own spirituality and faith or not. Otherwise it is a technical book not for those wishing a coffee table book to leaf through, or on a plane. It is 100% from a Catholic perspective as a priest but I see also from his life experience and that alone is what I trust rather than an institution . Extremely thought provoking in so many ways,to challenge you or just to consider your own views of the seen or unseen. On a wider and deeper level it does impact on how we interact with everything around us in my own personal reflections on life and this book. It is more than a book I know for me so others will decide themselves on its values be I know from experience dealing with other energies how it can affect you and the steps needed to be ready to engage for when they know you there ts no turning back. A true bang up to date reference for anyone let alone those arrogant enough to take on demons without true consideration of what is required to be ready if anyone ever truly is. A technical book it is, but more than that. it is written by the man who walks the talk and puts his life at risk for the souls of others, regardless of a tradition or spiritual belief system. For that I am grateful and blessed in life to be aware of his existence and commitment to this book and what he shared

Still reading the book but finding it really interesting

Producto en perfecto estado a recepción. El autor, Fr. Chad Ripperger, es un descubrimiento pos si solo. De vastísima formación y aguda intelectualidad aplicada siempre de modo enfocado y correcto. Me imagino que le crecerán adversarios que lo acusaran de retrogrado y tontadas del estilo, no los escuchen. En cuanto al libro, lo mejor que he leído nunca sobre el tema, con diferencia.
