Daughter loves the surprise of it. I like that I can know the outcome within 5 options. Paint washes off easily and the makeup color changes with hot and cold water. Clothes are sturdy and the boots are the BEST Barbie shoes I have ever seen in 35 years of playing Barbies. They stay on well and fit a couple types of Barbie feet! Warning that the hips don’t flex outward, so when my daughter tries to make her blue one do a split, the leg broke off. 😬 It does not pop back in like some of the 90’s type ball and socket legs. We may have an amputee Barbie from now on.

Super happy to see new Barbie color reveals dolls as their haven't been new ones for a while. Even though these girls have mixed reviews at the moment, I can confirm that these are more than decent! They might not be as good as the mermaids, but they are without a doubt more than decent. The color of the paint has changed as expected, and Im not a big fan of it!? It is a interesting concept, but the overall color is just a solid milky mint lol. A metallic shimmer in the paint would benefit a lot. The dolls have rooted hair(yay!), and they have tinsel(ugh..), but after putting the dolls head in icy cold water for the color change, her hair did tame pretty well(the tinsel is now less wild looking, and it is sticking to her hair better). The raincoats are, well, interesting. A nice concept, but another material would be very nice. I love the theme of the series, rain which is my favorite type of weather. And the pastel colors that the dolls sport is super cute. I might be a little biased as I got the one I wanted(the mint one), but, I think they're all fine(even though I HATE the blue and pink ones for no reason, maybe the facial mold that those girls have?). Overall, I think it's a great gift, as long as you don't get a duplicate, and the price increase is not approved by me at all. Those extra $3 don't add much. (FYI, they used to be $15 instead of $18). Not a fan of the concept that one of the dolls is super rare, not needed as they all are fairly similar. Overall, happy with this purchase, but I still would fix/change a few things here and there!

Me as I got to watch her excitement. The wonder in her eyes when she watched the water work it’s magic. I would say the only thing that disappointed us was the hat that came with the doll didn’t fit her. However despite that I will order her more soon

Okay to give a kid as a gift. A lot of packaging to open in the tube. Must have adult help if purchasing younger child. Overall, she enjoyed the surprise element.

Love the idea of this. Got one for my niece and she loved it so got one for my daughter as a stocking filler. However i will say it was a lot bigger than i was thinking it was going to me (more my own lack of research) that is may just be a present rather than fitting into her stocking

Great granddaughter just loves barbies and these didn't disappoint she loved them.

My daughter loves the mystery and experience of playing with the various types of "Color Reveal" Barbies. We have purchased others from the other types as well. A great source of entertainment for 2 or more friends to play with together.
