Good product but bad Amazon packaging
It's great to get this item delivered, but it's a very heavy item and often packaged in a flimsy box that ends up virtually destroyed by the time it reaches my front porch. I've had lots of dented cans. On one delivery one of the cans was damaged so badly that the seal was broken, discovered later, and had to be thrown away. Five stars if everything arrives intact.

Veterinarian Recommended
The Veterinarian for my morkie recommended this brand. I buy the chicken and Barley Loaf wet food 7+. My morkie loves this food. I tried giving her the kibble and she ate it for a short while then stopped. I retuned to this wet food and she has been eating it ever since. I was also concerned that my dog did not drink enough water and was told that the food provides enough for her not to drink as much. I appreciate the easy open top that does not require a can opener. My dog remains healthy at 8 years old, full of energy and playful. I would recommend this food and brand based on my expectations and deliverance by Hills Science. The value for my money is definitely worth it.

Quality Dog Food
I changed my dog's food to Science Diet because I believe the recipe changed with the Rachel Ray wet food I was giving her due to constant diarrhea. This brand is great, my dog has normal bowels again. I'm happy and I'm sure she is too!

Food is wonderful. Sale prices vary from one sale to another by $10.00?
This is a healthy senior dog food. I purchased this on October 10 for $31.80. Purchased again on October 21 for $41.88. I do not understand what's going on. This has happened more than one time. Both instances Amazon fulfilled and shipped the product. If I purchase this product two times in a row, the prices is always $10.00 higher the 2nd time. I know since this is a price question, Amazon will not post it because they don't consider price to be a applicable "product review element".
