Gorilla Wall Repair Kit Featuring Gorilla Heavy Duty Wall Repair Spackling + Primer White

Just make sure to heed the warnings on the back. I got the repair kit option, and on the back it says to be careful not to breath in the dust from this stuff, or to get it in your eyes. So when it's time to sand down this stuff after it dries, I'd make sure to wear some good eye protection as well as some kind of respiratory mask. But that's just me. Maybe all that's not really needed, but I like to be safer than sorry.But anyway, for anyone who needs to repair a hole or holes in some sheetrock, then I would definitely recommend this Gorilla Wall Repair spackling & primer in one. The kit comes with a little 220 grit sanding block, a 3" putty knife, and a 4" x 4" self-adhesive patch. And then, the tub that comes with IT, is an 8 ounce tub of spackling & primer. One of the other options here that's just the tub of spackling & primer by itself, is actually a 16 ounce tub. And then, if you were to get the kit, and one 4" x 4" self-adhesive patch isn't enough, then the other option here is another one of those by itself.

Super easy kit to patch holes in the wall. I have no experience and was able to quickly patch holes in our kids bathroom. Dried so quickly- was able to paint the walls within a few hours.

ok so i got the 8oz pack first that came with the one patch and the tool, didn’t have enough. but the 8oz one was a little more moist than this 16oz one. the reviewer who said to add like the smallest amount of water and mix is GOD SENT. i included a picture of two types of holes i had, left side only has the grid type patch but the right side has the little aluminum plate in it. left side i used a little water, right side no water in the mix. it’s easy to use once you put some water in it and also mix and scrape and mix and scrape like kneading dough/clay. you HAVE to cap it. for some reason it drys way faster IN the little container than it does on the wall. i also think it does need that small spit of water to fix the flakiness because it does say it’s spackling AND primer and the “paint” probably dries it out and makes it flaky. dried it looks AMAZING. i added a picture of an old hole i fixed with the 8oz pack.

The mesh patch was easy to cut to size and apply to the wall. The only tricky part was applying the right amount of spackle and sanding it so that the mesh didn’t show through. The finished product with spackle and paint is indistinguishable from the undamaged wall.

First, for some jobs this might be good enough, but I would probably stick with the normal water/powder mix. It was very difficult to get it to stay where you wanted it, and I followed the instructions. I actually had to do the job twice because looking at the area at an angle I could see a variation with the rest of the wall. I probably would not recommend it for most jobs - it seems like it will be easier than mixing up the mud but you do get a result that is not as good in my opinion.

By far this is the best thing ever made.
