Material seems strong, easy to unpack and cover my table and chairs but one of the fastenings is missing the buckle. I had already had to fight with a previous one to get it in the bag to return because it was a fraction too small, I have kept this and had to tie it instead of buckling it.

I first purchased the Dokon V-Shape Garden Furniture Covers back in June 2022, and I was genuinely impressed. The material felt strong and durable, the fit was excellent, and they held up brilliantly through heavy rain and strong winds. Because of that positive experience, I didn’t hesitate to reorder the same covers in 2025 when I needed a replacement. Unfortunately, the difference in quality is immediately noticeable – and not in a good way. The new covers feel significantly cheaper, both in terms of the material and overall construction. Whereas the older version stayed taut and kept water off my furniture effectively, these newer ones sag badly when it rains, causing large pools of water to collect. Not only is this annoying to deal with, but it also puts unnecessary strain on the fabric and risks damaging the furniture underneath. It’s clear that Dokon has cut corners on what used to be a fantastic product. I’m really disappointed – I expected the same reliable quality I received in 2022, but this version falls far short. If the brand is listening, I urge them to return to the previous design and materials that made these covers worth buying in the first place. Far from happy this time. Would not recommend unless improvements are made.

I bought this, on the back of a number of good reviews, to cover a wooden table that I’d saved up for (probably not massively expensive in the grand scheme, but for me it was quite an investment). I was initially pretty pleased - the material is a lot heavier than I was expecting, of good thickness, and it looked great on. The trouble came after the first blustery day, a few months after I had bought it. The table is on a patio set back towards the house, so reasonably sheltered, but a windy day clearly tugged on the Velcro straps and one tore loose. I have tried to work with 3, but the wind seems to find a way to lift the cover off one corner and because the straps are not particularly adjustable it is not easy to find different points to attach them to the table legs. The table has taken a battering from the elements, and will need completely resanding and staining in the Spring. Some of the chairs underneath are badly watermarked. This has all happened due to the weakness of the fixings, which has made an otherwise good looking product unfit for purpose.

This product far exceeds it's description on the website. We have used it for 2 winters, it's waterproof, galeproof, stormproof. The fittings supplied are fine and securely anchor it to your table, but the biggest plus are the air vents. These are cleverly designed to let air out so that there is no chance of it taking off, in fact it barely moves, while at the same time not allowing water in..it would have to flow uphill to get in. I would say that I would buy it again but the quality is so good I won't have too.

Yes, it seems to be doing the job so far. Of course it doesn't fit neatly, as there are only so many sizes available and table measurements are infinitely variable - well almost! But with bits of string round legs etc (the straps provided were too short) the table should stay safe all winter. On consideration I wonder if it might be easier to buy a cover first and then find a table to fit!!!!!!
