On first use the rice cooker started emitting paint burning smell and the heating are at the bottom of the rice container caught fire. Very dangerous and threatening condition if the cooker was left alone and not watched.

Best thing ever!! Super love the simplicity of this rice cooker and the no coating bowl makes me feel a lot better health wise. Rice does not stick to the bowl if you remove the bowl from the cooker and let sit for 10 mins to cool.

Absolutely not happy with this item. I ordered it because it’s stainless steel pot for healthier reason, however it’s very disappointing. First the plug adapter is not compatible with UK standard socket. So I have to buy an adapter, when finally got an adapter, for the first time to use this rice cooker. It’s very shaky and excessive smoke produced from the boiling rice. Then eventually stopped after probably just over 5 minutes. I could not believe it, for the very first time to use this item, it’s broken already. No AC power/red light when the button is press down, there should be light from the electric item when press down when either cook or warm. It’s completely waste of money for this rice cooker. My first rice cooker costed me £10 which lasted for 17 good years and my last one before this costed me £20 which lasted for 6 years. However, this one costed me over £42 and lasted for only just over 5 mins. This is so unfair and very very disappointing.
